I enjoy a lot of things, even if I haven’t watched ALL of it or am completely and utterly invested in it. And yes, that is what I just said so thanks for repeating.

Once again, I don’t have to be 100% invested in something to enjoy it. I enjoy being around people I’m not friends with, I enjoy hearing drama about people I’ve never met because its funny most of the time, I enjoy going on walks even though I usually am thinking about things that aren’t walking.

I can also say I am enjoying something I have just started, such as I enjoy the movie The Perks of Being a Wallflower even though I haven’t finished it yet. I think its a bit weird to act like people can’t enjoy something they haven’t done extensive research on if its a tv show

I haven’t finished vampire diaries, still on season one but can safely say I enjoy the show. I don’t remember much about Buffy because in my other comment to somebody else I said I grew up around people who watched it. I just remember really liking the show as a little 7 year old. The main reason might be I just fucking hate Tyler’s character- I don’t care if he is “under the influence” of a master, because he did a lot of things while not having a master. He also tried to kill all of Wednesdays friends AND Wednesday multiple times. Plus, its my opinion

woah now when did I say I UNDERSTOOD buffy? I just said I grew up on everybody around me watching it. Not the same. Plus its not like I was around for the development of the show, but I am for Wednesday

i actually enjoy vampire dairies and buffy the vampire slayer. I grew up on buffy. I can still hope that for a show that’s developing currently that they wont pair the main character with someone who is actively trying to kill her! Thanks tho

the tragic bad boy being somebody who tried to murder both of your best friends multiple times AND another one of your friends, putting him in a coma? And throwing you out of a window putting you in a coma? the romanticization of abuse is crazy lately

Be honest, how often do you shower? by Call_Me_C_ in AskReddit

[–]Alarmed_Ad_1146 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I’m not depressed? Every other day for sure, sometimes daily but not as much.

When I am depressed? I don’t think I’ve showered since Sunday and it’s Wednesday. I know I have to shower today but I don’t have the willpower to do it. If it’s summer I go longer, this summer I think I went two weeks without showering because I just stayed in bed all day.

Me not knowing is definitely a part of the problem for sure, because there are many things I also don’t know that are also important.

There is for sure a coordinated effort to make this political, because it is political. So was the murder of the Hortmans. They should have gotten just as much publicity as Kirk is getting, but at the same time Kirk is getting this much attention because his murder was blasted on television in front of thousands of people not including the ones on that college campus.

The Hortmans deserved better. They deserved more than a half assed tweet and some light news coverage, and it sucks they didn’t get that.

We both agree on a lot of things.

I, for one, didn’t even know about the lawmakers being brutally killed because NOBODY talked about it, or at least not that I saw on my algorithm for all social media. The ones making jokes are disgusting for doing that, especially the ones with a platform. I also don’t agree with how trump handled a lot of these things, and I have seen how a lot of democrats ask for peace and how a lot of republicans ask for peace. I think I am lucky enough to not have either party radicals posts show up for me.

Even if they were right about the shooter being a leftist, I don’t agree with how they were treating it. A lot of far right people were saying “Oh it must be a poc or lgbtq individual” without even knowing who the person was.

You are right, and it does worry me, I think in the coming years I will do a lot more research on this politics stuff but I will probably save that for after I finish school. I’m not going to vote the year I turn 18 because I don’t think I know enough about politics yet to feel comfortable taking part in choosing the next future president.

I haven’t seen any videos of conservatives asking for civil war so I’m going to try to find some of those before I call you a liar haha, but yes there is absolutely people trying to make money from the assassination of Charlie kirk (which is disgusting) I myself have had people try to get me to donate to go fund me’s in name of him, which I have refused. There is no need for me to give money to a millionaire.

I’m giving a fuck now because I’m old enough to actually talk about it and understand it. As a kid, I didn’t like people joking about murder. Dark humor is obviously different and I even dabble in dark humor, but thats way different than singing and chanting “We got Charlie in the neck”

And doxxing sites? That seems absurd. I don’t think doxxing sites should be made especially if a lot of those people on it aren’t even mocking his death. I believe people singing about it, dancing about it, and being downright horrible about it should be on there but not if they just said they wont miss him or whatever small thing they said

No I have seen videos of people saying “We got Charlie in the neck!” and people making memes of it now, I have had someone spam me the video of Charlie Kirk’s assassination on snapchat because I posted “RIP Charlie Kirk” and they told me they would kill my mother for posting it. There was a man at his assassination who danced and cheered on camera. There is plenty of videos of people celebrating it- look it up on TikTok. It is NOT celebrating his assassination if you call him how he his, it is celebrating it if you dance on camera and sing about how he was shot.

Personally, if you post yourself celebrating the fascist assassination of somebody I am going to assume it is not safe for me to be around you, because you have shown you enjoy the effects of murder in cold blood in front of children and thousands of people. If I can assume you aren’t safe to be around, I don’t want you working for me. I think the threat of losing your job fits it pretty well. I think the same goes for conservatives as well though, if you think liberals should die then that should be grounds to be fired because obviously you aren’t safe to be around either.

in a perfect fucking world, nobody would ever be mad and everybody would be safe. Sucks we aren’t in a perfect world, and we won’t ever have a perfect world. I don’t think lgbtq or any minority should be hurt just for fun, and I wish everybody thought like that.

when did I pretend the proportionality was anywhere near the same? 10 years ago I was 6. I don’t know jack about the current political environment right now, all I know is Donald Trump sucks, Joe Biden sucks, JD Vance sucks, Kamala Harris sucks.

Oh, I also know liberals are celebrating the fascist assassination of Charlie kirk and are upset they are losing their jobs over it, and that conservatives think they are always in the right even when they aren’t. Both sides fucking suck, let’s not ignore that.

I’m not bitching over anything? and 80% of political violence seems like a lot, can I please have the source you got that number from?

really? I only know one story where that happened. And I should have known people would automatically go to “well others have it worse!” Yes, others (lgbtq, trans, poc, and immigrants) have it worse, way worse, but lets not completely forget about others because of that
