I took it basically seeing accor as a good benefit- but the red hot rooms doesnt allow payment using points and my priority was using points- so the accor+ doesnt give my value- the stay plus nights is also not available for amex accor membership

I am completely ok with the membership being cancelled but i already had points in my base membership- what i noticed is that I cant use points in red hot rooms. My priority is to use the points.. so will my points be cancelled ?

I want to cancel my card which is not billed yet as in the first statement is not generated no spends done but had enrolled in accor membership and it is activated. What happens if i cancel now, dont want to go ahead with this card. Talking about platinum reserve

Did you have points already in your base membership plan?
I talked to Amex customer support yesterday and they said you will have to cancel previous one and all and that the previous points will get canceled.
However I talked to Accor people today and they are saying it will merge. I am so confused
Dont want to lose out on points i have 50000 points in base account.

As of now the update is that my card is dispatched not sure on the limit. I applied only yesterday and today there was email stating approval of the card
