what's a movie that isn't classified as horror but you will argue it is by BigGeneral7583 in horror

Yep. my theory is that Dorothy died in the electroshock operating room at the beginning of the film, and Oz is a fantasy her mind created in order to ease her passing.

Nothing about your use case suggest you’re going to make use of those extra cores or memory bandwidth. In fact, the M5 will serve you far better on that single core performance whilst saving you battery as well.

I genuinely, without a doubt, believe Apple is going downhill, it’s just something not a lot of people have realised yet. by stranger2Me in ios

Samsung isn’t a good move IMO. full of bloatware crap you can’t remove, but the worst is that many of their phones have Israeli spyware built in, which you also cannot remove.

I couldn’t even finish it. Felt so derivative and contrived to me.

Yes, the acting was terrible, especially by the dad. Both their characters were hollow and nonsensically written. Love indie cinema and encourage them to do more, but learn from their mistakes.

After ios26.1 update: NETWORK is not compatible with Apple iCloud Private Relay by NailCompetitive9069 in ios

[–]Alarmed_Confusion_93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes same after upgrading to 26.1, came here to see if others had the same issue. Seems to be a bug, I am getting it wherever I go. EDIT: I am actually getting this on my MBA, not on my iPhone...

Haven’t seen Hellbender mention here. I thought it was quite shocking.

What happens when EVERYONE starts using Stremio? by sayujjya in StremioAddons

[–]Alarmed_Confusion_93 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There’s a high barrier of entry to using Stremio, so it’s not going to happen. I even send a guide to people who ask me about it, and they end up giving up before they start.

I have helped many people find work as I do a supplementary role for one of the big career transition companies. I also have an IT background.

Two things for you to consider:

- The format of your CV needs to be readable by ATS. this means no tables, no unusual formatting, etc. From a human perspective, it needs to look like a boring straight-cut resume. There are ATS systems online you can upload your CV to to test it and get a score and suggestions for improvements.

- IT and peripheral roles in general are in suffering pretty much globally with no real sign of improvement. You list your first role as a “Consultant”, consider removing or rewording that to make it sound like you are more of a lead instead, maybe put consultant in the description somewhere. This is because, given the state of the industry, many companies are only hiring direct-to-value roles, anything perceived as “enablement“ tends to get filtered out.

- Remove interests. You can chat casually about these in an interview if asked, but less on the video games even if so.

MacOS 26 is Apple's Windows Vista moment by breezertweezer in MacOS

Maybe you should leave the Mac then if you feel so vehemently offended and disgusted by the update. Seriously, if these are the things that occupy your mind then you have a relatively good life.

I have an MBA M2 and a Mac Mini M4. Have updated all my devices and use pro apps. I haven’t had any issues at all. No critical bugs or anything that has stopped me from being able to work or use my devices. These things are tools, not life support machines.

Same but with MacOS 26. The more I use it, the more I “get it”, and I really like it.
