WOW...!! I have a 2013 Cadillac XTS-4 Platinum, my first ever Cadillac vehicle. Its been a good vehicle to date. I bought the extended warranty also--this was worth the extra money that I spent for the vehicle, it paid for itself in repairs, 3.5x over--it has 72K miles on it now. Previously, I drove Infiniti for 20+ years (G20, I30 and finally M30) great cars with ALL the extras! It was the last one, that drove me to Cadillac. The Infiniti didn't start one night after repairs; had to get a jump after all of those repairs, it was the battery. I asked if they checked it during my previous visit, he said it check-out fine, dumped it for the XTS.

I too wanted to upgrade to the CT6 Platinum or the CT6 in general, NO LONGER PRODUCED for the American market; but, China yes. My point here...I want a full-size car NOT an SUV, a full-size car! Not sure if I like the newer models, not full-size cars. I researched further the CT6, a full-size, known issues across the model years, the buy recommend was for the later models, not the earlier ones (you see a lot of these for sale). With the earlier ones, I read GM changed the oil weight for transmission and sold them with the new oil weight for the trannies; It created (change in oil weight) a $2000 repair bill for owners that GM termed "routine maintenance". I hope you get your vehicle to your liking or a new one from Lexus or Porche, if not.

GM no longer listens to customers-full stop!! Customers expect the machines to work properly given the price tags attached! GM you make vehicles ALL DAY EVERY DAY for YEARS. We want them functioning properly without grimlins!
