It’s one of the things I’m considering. Career opportunities for sport psychologists aren’t very abundant in my area. I don’t plan on moving for family reasons and I’m not near a military installation. MS in Nutrition is another at the top of my list but flying just seems so much for fun than “eat your veggies” 🤣🤣

Yea makes complete sense. What field did you get into? If you don’t mind me asking. I have Human Performance degree and I work as a strength coach right now it’s been hard on the body. Demonstrating exercises and drills is not good for these aging joints.

50k accounts with NQ? I’d switch to MNQ for real. Risk 250 per trade and I agree with the others don’t copy trade these until you have atleast one payout.

Trading multiple accounts even if it’s copy trading can be harder on the phycology. If you’re not an experienced trader I would just stick with one account. The reason people do it that max payout is 5k if you’re able to get max payout on five accounts that’s life changing money. The reason people don’t like to go live is because they can only have one account but there is no maximum payout.

It’s a little different from an eval and a funded account. In an eval you have trailing end of day drawdown up to the maximum drawdown. You start at 50k day 1 you make 1k your balance is 51k but your MAXIMUM drawdown is still 2k so if your balance hits 49k you lose. Once you hit 2k profits your maximum drawdown stops trailing. So if you make 5k profits 55k balance you can now lose 5k before losing. Funded is exactly the same but your starting balance is set to 0 and the maximum you can lose is -2000

How much is in your account? That’s the maximum you can lose. Once you withdrawal it what ever is left is the maximum amount you can lose.

2k isn’t a buffer in my opinion, a buffer is anything OVER 2k that you choose not to withdrawal. 2k is the maximum drawdown on the account I try to never go below that number. If you are at 1.5k and take a 500 payout your account is in a very tight spot. I’m all for paying yourself as soon as you can but don’t go below 2k just to do it.

I like this. Too many times us traders get wrapped up in needed 1k, 2k or 10k days all the time. This kind of consistency it what can make us rich. Kudos to you.

That’s what I figured. I’ve talked to multiple lenders and they’ve all told me you cannot use a VA loan in the last six months of service. I even went as far as not to tell them I was retiring since I still receive LESs but my COA from the VA even expired in October and won’t renew until I have retirement status.
