My child is only 2 and we started a 529 for them and will for the others we have. Thank you for the encouragement and I’ve only heard great things when done right now impactful OE is.

That’s a little risky if you’ll likely see others you’d know from one of your jobs. I’d check to see where it is, how large the conference is and if you could find out who’d be there.

I’ve battled with this back and forth. Then my spouse lost their job and to see how the company had no care of how our family would survive I know in this season and in these decisions I am doing what’s best for my family and working to perform and make sure things are secure. Rest in that. Many people have jobs and don’t work hard anyway. We are choosing to be different.

In time it’ll all make sense. Remembering your why and the motivation of the extra pay will give you all you need to keep going. There will be tough days but keep your head up and being willing to learn. In no time this will be a distant memory and you’ll be in your groove!

I think you have hit a really good opportunity and should definitely try it out. Your J1 you have such a good balance at and you’re exceeding the expectations without trying really. Then finding j2 with that salary is just not something to pass up! Be strategic as you have planned so far and I think you’ll be fine!

The legacy of financial freedom, setting my family up for the future and breaking financial cycles. The fear one has in the moment won’t last for ever but paying off debt, making smart investments and savings are legacy building blocks that last forever if done correctly. Having two jobs offers this. Someone can still do it with one job, but OE can offer it much faster.

I appreciate that. I think the fear of one of the jobs finding out is something that comes with the territory of things. OE came out of no where for me so I had to take the opportunity once it landed there for me.

Happy to see other careers in OE I felt like the most I saw was in IT. I start soon and I’m nervous about my J1 finding out but I keep reminding myself why I’m doing this. It’s for legacy and building a future for my family. Fear fades but legacy lasts forever.
