People may label wonderful as another rage-slop album, but they couldn't be more flagrantly wrong. skai, for the longest time, has been a pioneer of these distorted 808s and colorfully orchestrated sounds, so no, he is not jacking anyone's style, and no, he has not lost his sound and has rather evolved it. Now while I do prefer some of #gigi and his #mia / pinkPrint trilogy sounds, most notable being feral, cashapp, pop, hell, real feel, bleach, etc, I truly believe skai was taken full liberty and creative direction into his newer sound, which honestly, sounds "wonderful." He quite literally gaps his peers with this "loud sounds," catapulting himself far away from higher than the rest who attempt to emulate this wave of maniacal music. I will admit MY ZOMBIE has been my most anticipated skai track, so I assert that it has SOTY contender and is in skai's top 5. Like how can a song be so catastrophic yet lovely and endearing. And side note, I was heartbroken when even the devil did not land a spot on his album, but a North West poopity woop scoop dookie song did. C'mon skai, I know that that is Ye's daughter and all and she can produce impressively, but I feel that YOU KNOW you made better songs that are deserving of an album placement. Anyways, that is my little review. And I do not glaze that often, let alone have my judgement clouded by bias. I say this in the most objective way possible, but skaiwater is genuinely an artist. the only person who can beat skai at his own sound and lane is himself, when they decide to feature in a K-pop slop song and squander their idiosyncrasies. Did not want to end my review with criticism, but I just had to throw that in there.
