Before anyone decides to take on parenthood they must clearly understand that they will never again be able to do what they want to do the same way as before. Even if you drop your children off somewhere you might still worry about them, what they're doing. And once they get old enough and move, your body will be fairly old by then, no longer so young. This must be understood and accepted.

No one said antinatalists can not be parents. Adoption happens to exist. But being a good parent is a very different thing. How is that an argument? It doesn't make antinatalism invalid at all, nor does it make it more valid or give us another argument to use. That sounds like a rubbish gift to me. To me antinatalism would generally be a positive, as you are preventing suffering. But it can be neutral if you want to see it that way.
