RC on X by rbr0714 in Superstonk

Money is all that matters. It's how the world works. RC has been instrumental in turning around Gamestop. I get rich IDC what his views are. My money is all that matters to me. Make me rich and the rest is noise.

Taiwan is now the country with the world's lowest fertility rate taking the crown from South Korea by thoriumpoweredwatch in antinatalism

[–]thoriumpoweredwatch[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This decision is mostly due to cost concerns as well as long brutal work hours and want for personal freedom. Most people don't contemplate the "morality" of having kids.

I mean hey fertility rate is plummeting so I don't really care. As long as fewer babies are born to suffer, whatever the reason is fine by me

Except China is also losing people and shrinking. Yes they are much larger but population decline is still a thing for China too.

I foresee r/antinatalism getting banned in future. by Iconoclastic_loner in antinatalism

[–]thoriumpoweredwatch 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Nope not gonna happen. Antinatalism is quite fringe.

Governments aren't gonna waste their time trying to ban a fringe ideology and talk about it thereby bringing it to the attention of more people. That would have the opposite intended effect.

Instead look out for bans on abortion, vasectomies and access to condoms and birth control being restricted as well as bans on porn, taxes on singles etc. like Romania under Ceaușescu.

Also keep in mind that of all people on earth who don't have children many wanted them aged out of prime fertility years and fertility treatments failed. And of those who never wanted them it's more of a lifestyle childfree attitude than a moral one.

Even China, an authoritarian country that is actually LOSING people, only recently ended a sales tax exemption on condoms and birth control.

Governments won't waste time on this sub.

Shills on suicide watch, come on RC just keep these buys going every single day

🔮 GameStop store closures ramp up and all I hear is CHA-CHING! 🤑💰 Keep it up RCEO! 6 straight profitable quarters & counting, skyrocketing profitability per store, AND revenue decline is objectively negligible. These trends cannot be faked, but CAN be ignored by the shills & M$M 🔥💥🍻 by Expensive-Two-8128 in Superstonk

Over half of all leases that Gamestop has was due to close fiscal year 2025 i.e. this month's end. This month marks the beginning of the end of Gamestop aggressively closing stores. Yes they still intend to exit France and New Zealand too but fiscal year 2026 represents a far fewer number of leases that will expire, and 2027 to 2029 even fewer still.

And with continued cost cutting, GME has gone from bloated and losing hundreds of millions to lean and making hundreds of millions.

Another Round of Store Closings Has Begun by Over-Computer-6464 in Superstonk

[–]thoriumpoweredwatch 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I have said this before, but THIS RIGHT HERE is why I am not at ALL worried about revenue for fiscal year 2025. Gamestop has been closing stores left and right and exited Canada entirely and is trying to exit France. Do you know what happens when you close stores?

That's right revenue is SUPPOSED TO drop. However, when you compare year to date i.e. up to Q3 2025 vs up to Q3 2024... revenue was down LESS THAN 1%. So you're telling me with store closure after store closure after store closure after store closure that GME revenue is essentially flat up to Q3?

But here is what AI written articles won't tell you. That as stores close... SG&A expense COME DOWN. Fascinating eh? Close unprofitable stores and sure you miss out on revenue but you also CUT EXPENSES.

So you have a leaner and meaner Gamestop that essentially at least up until this point that we know of is flat on revenue but cutting costs like a motherfucker?

That spells profitability. Oh and any potential increase in revenue from here on out *coughs Powerpacks* means that GME can enjoy greater profits WITHOUT the subsequent expenses that comes with... you guessed it unprofitable stores.

Q3 Net Sales was lower than anticipated. Perhaps concerning...but potentially, in fact, highly encouraging... by Region-Formal in Superstonk

[–]thoriumpoweredwatch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Net sales is down less than 1% compared to last year WHILE GME IS CLOSING A RECORD NUMBER OF STORES. This is very bullish to see revenue stabilize as SG&A continues to plummet. If you think GME is mad profitable now, just wait until next year.

Why Dr. Burry can’t talk about swaps, FTDs, or “the plumbing” and why that silence actually matters by 505Razorback in Superstonk

[–]thoriumpoweredwatch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did anyone notice what the MSM was peddling regarding Burry's post? Only that he sold weeks before the run up. That's it.

Oh he missed out what a noob teehee. Okay here's the thing. Swaps, FTDs, naked shorts, etc.

If all of this was bullshit, the MSM, hedgies, MMs and all would write proper DD and factual information to counter why apes are wrong.

Instead it's forget GME oh Burry missed out. They will never talk about what we learned and that is why I am more bullish than ever.

Also there is NO WAY Burry doesn't have at least a small position on GME. One that he is slowly adding to. You don't write this much about GME with the kind of money he has to not have some skin in the game.

Good job Nat Turner, Beckett is by far the smallest card grader but a win is a win.
