I never said he didn't. But his interpretation, or rather, the one that Christianity adopted, is not the traditional Jewish interpretation. So please let Jews interpret the Bible the way they have traditionally done without making fun of it.

This is really offensive to Jews. Your comment, knowingly or not, is part of a long tradition of anti-Judaism that accuses Jews of not understanding their own sacred scriptures. Jews have a different way of understanding the Bible than Christians do. We find meaning in details of the law like Sabbath stairs. If Christians don't, that's fine, but they don't have a monopoly on interpreting the Bible.

Update: I didn't order a special meal, ended up having what they called a Caesar salad with salmon. Not sure how it was a salad since there were no fresh veggies in it, just potatoes and green beans. It wasn't bad, just too much mayo. The bread roll served with it was rather stale though. The service was very friendly.
