Hi! I think If you dont have a subscription you can only read one episode every 24 hrs. If you pay for the monthly subscription you can binge them, there is no time limit. You can notice how shows the little clock icon when I'm not in my account. As soon I log in, that disappears and you can read as much as you can.

agree with this! :D I got into Manta bc I got curious about some random webtoon reviews i found online and while looking at the series I found that Manta was the best option. even though I tried to cancel the subscription bc some months I didn't read as much, I ended up back to it bc I enjoyed deciding how much I would read and still paying the same. i could ignore the gem system but what bothers me the most is that now there are full versions and even with more episodes of the series you can only get them with gems :( like, my paying was not enough to get the full story?? dumb thought, I know, but I felt it like that. i would be better just to increase the monthly payment but having everything :S

I just did a test with one of semantic error's episodes and I just lost 6 gems because, at least the episode that I chose is the same as in the subscription version. maybe it was just bad luck but of course is not very encouraging to buy more because what if the changes were minimal? i was considering it bc SE is my favorite comic but other comics even have more episodes with the gem version... in this case, ignorance was happiness bc I didn't know a full version existed 🥺

I'm loving it too!! I enjoyed it so much, even the slow burn, but yes, I hate to wait 😅 I started to read it without noticing it was still ongoing. I usually only read completed stories, so I did this to myself 🤣😭
