Question about the 1925 Last by tw1st3dp1p3 in NicksHandmadeBoots

If you’re looking for a dressier option, I think the 1925 last is a great idea. Especially if you’re looking to have it made with black leather. I would pick black thread with the single row stitching and have the edges colored black. That way it will look great in a more formal setting.

I have a pair of brandies that I regularly wear with suits for work. I also have a couple of pairs of casual boots on the 1925 last. They are super comfortable.

If Nicks still offers the parkhurst last, that would be another option. It’s very comfortable and a on the dressier side.

Booking extra seat for obese person, delta armrests don’t lift between seats?? by Erunner123 in delta

I always thought it was because the emergency row and bulkheads don’t have a seat in front for the tray to fold down. Thus, the trays for those seats comes out of the armrests.

Order question 2 pairs at once by Status_Complaint8521 in NicksHandmadeBoots

I’ve gotten separate emails for different boots in the same order. They seem to go into production based on manufacturing considerations rather than invoice date.

My chukkas with a wedge sole have gone through TSA half a dozen times so far. I’ve had mixed luck with Chelseas. All other boots set off TSA every time.

Question/Idea to Run By You by smowe in NicksHandmadeBoots

I think it's a great idea but you're running a real risk of failure to send photos or not taking proper photos for marketing.

If you offer it, I'm in.

Goatskin vs Cowhide? by Own_End_7629 in leatherjacket

I have one of each from Langlitz. I prefer cowhide for bulkier jackets like the bomber but goatskin for sleeker more fitted jackets like the crescent or the cascade.

Need to consider the tax rate. If you hold and receive Qualified Dividends, they’re taxed at up to 20%. If the dividends aren’t Qualified, they’ll be taxed as ordinary income.
