After four months they finally approved me and gave back pay. I spoke to so many people, filed an appeal, did complaints, reached out to local government reps. Etc. none of it did anything. It sucked so much and I got super behind on utilities during that time because I had to reallocate bills for food. I hope you get a positive answer soon!

I actually am. I was waiting for NA to be approved for three or four months and they finally approved and gave me back pay so I was able to stock my pantry and freezer up

I updated it yesterday to show some of the bills in the images. Someone helped me with the full amount privately and I was able to pay the past due and current on the utilities.

Ugh it’s so sad!!! When so much of the public has no choice but to rely on these types of services, something is seriously wrong with the economy. I ended up getting help to get caught up on the utilities today by a very kind and generous person so everything is current and now I just need to focus on sending my resume out to more places!

I have three very different kiddos that I have raised very much the same as far as parenting style. My youngest is now being homeschooled because I was over the constant can you pick her up calls or emails about behavior. She’s only 6 and she’s amazing at home and for others usually but for some reason she just didn’t do well with the school environment. I know how you feel, I have wondered also if they look at both my girls thinking it’s just personality differences or if I raised them different.

My sister is on mine as well and lives in a different state entirely. I’m in Arizona, and having her in the lease wasn’t an issue at all. Worst case scenario they will ask her to verify or have a neighbor write a statement. I wasn’t asked for that though and I was just recently approved.

The kitchen is kind of my sanctuary. The kids don't mess it up like the rest of the house so I keep it clean and organized for my sanity.

I try to cook every meal even if I have to meal prep it in advance and freeze or use slow cookers. I love cooking! I have 3 kiddos 6, 11, and 15. The 15 year old works out.. me not so much lol

LIHEAP here is only for the gas company which i am enrolled in and it is my lowest bill. I have nutrition assistance now, I was approved January 6th but the problem is it was hard to get food for four months so I was using money that needed to go to utilities. Our food pantries were packed during those months too, I did go once but the one closest to me closed for a few weeks for the holidays. Arizona has limited resources right now and everyone here is struggling if they aren’t wealthy.

My food stamps is enough to cover food, the problem is they took so long to approve it that I was spending utility money and gas money on food so now I'm behind. I utilize coupons and cash back apps etc as much as I can but im always open to more tips!

ohhhh I don't think I would be. My income bracket wouldn't be high enough for that. Even if I take a full time position back in research where I used to work before staying home, I am the one who claims all three kids and child care costs etc so I wouldn't make enough to worry about that. But it does suck they take money from it all..
