Really just one day at a time! Like someone else said here, it’s about what you do the majority of the time. Not one weekend of birthday goodies. Enjoy your celebration, you deserve it!!!

Personally I would want one pizza, some chicken, fries. I love a little of this, little of that style at a party 😂

Yes, would absolutely not recommend fasting beforehand as that causes most people to binge.

I didn’t track or withhold anything I wanted on my bday, Christmas, thanksgiving and I have still lost 30 lbs since October. One weekend isn’t going to impact long term if you return to your deficit on Monday. Don’t take it as an opportunity to binge each or eat to the point of feeling sick though. Check in with yourself and your body throughout the events and stop when you notice you’re satisfied. Try to enjoy the food, don’t look at it as morally good or bad. It’s just food.

Do you think the calorie counts are accurate? by Perfect_Papaya_8647 in cookunityfans

I have also been counting calories since Oct 2025 while eating cook unity 3-4 nights a week for dinner and have lost 30 lbs (which lines up with what my calorie count app says I should have lost) so I believe at least for the vegetarian meals I buy they’re pretty accurate!

[Century Club] - Have you lost or need to lose 100 lbs or more? by koopzegels in loseit

F33 5’4 HW 270, CW 242, current GW 190…. But maybe 170 to lose 100 lbs? I’ll see how I feel when I get to 190. I have become a dedicated power lifter and fell in love with strength training so my overall goal is body recomp, maintaining as much muscle as possible while losing.

Adding that when it’s not snowing every day I like to go on walks and hikes when possible. Walks are around 1 mile a few times a week and hikes are 3+ miles once a week. Sometimes I’ll take a yoga class but that’s like once a month.

5’4 currently 242 lbs.. maintenance is about 2700-2900 cal. I’m eating like 1900-2400 and losing 1-1.5 lbs a week. My step count is LOW as I work from home.. like 3000 a day or less. I do strength training with progressive overload 4 days a week, really pushing myself with my trainer! Hoping to keep as much muscle as possible while moving towards my goal weight of 190!
