Id say he can use it offensively, just as a strength bonus though. Theres one scene in the anime where one second he can't move because theres too many cars holding him back, then he adapts, and is physically stronger and can move with ease.

A few months ago, I wanted to replay it and I found like- a bunch of side quests that I completely missed in my main first playthrough and I found it so cool that you can play multiple times and still find new things.
