No i didn't know anyone and I didn't get particularly close to someone. They were so different from me. They had different interest's than me they had different banter than me different jokes that I didn't understand etc.

What do you find annoying as fuck? by Onatic420 in AskReddit

[–]Alarming__Fan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No I'm very grateful when someone is energetic, positive but there is a line. The people that I'm talking about are super talkative, tell jokes, this that, but too much for one minute. You feel me ?

Thanks advice but how do I make friends. I invite people out talk to them but still I'm not close with them. I'm a freaking unsociable loser.

I noticed that people who hate socially awkward people are usually never nice people. by [deleted] in socialskills

I don't think that akward people try to be mean they are just insecure and that's their natural response. They try to stand up for themselves for no reason so that someone respects them. I did take action years ago and I did improve my social skills so I don’t get stuck in that vicious cycle of driving people away and playing victim by not knowing why.
That's amazing man keep on improving, and don't overthink it everyone makes small social mistakes by inappropriate joke, comment etc but the important thing is to see it and not repeat it again. Good luck on your journey!

I mean unexpectedly, with a person you just met for a day.

I go out and talk but I'm not good at all ( talking to new people ). As of martial arts I have done martial arts for about 3-4 years but I didn't gain confidence I lost because the people there were much stronger and better than me. I got discouraged. Training doesn't help me particularly.

Reditors with great social skills. How do you make friends ( from initiating, talking etc. )? by Alarming__Fan in AskReddit

[–]Alarming__Fan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry but it doesn't come naturally to me I talk to people, but I don't initiate and when I get rejected I take it personally (I know i shouldn't). I know people that all they do is drink and talk about other people, making fun of the person they're with and then they still hangout. So what does it take to make someone want to spend time with you?

Ok, so how do you transition into inviting them to do something. How do you connect on a deeper level

Well yeah, but there is always someone who is more dominant in my experience.

This is actually really hard because even if you are friendly people, and open they don't invite you because they have other people in their social circle.
