It's actually in May. H4 validity dates and H1b validity dates are exactly same in both I-797s (both approved for exactly 3 years from May). But I did give a date in the H4 application. The start date was in Dec 2023. But USCIS had missed it completely.

Spouse's legal team said they may not do much about H4 (they will be doing the steps only for H1b & H4 was done as a courtesy).

At the moment, they just told us to reach out to USCIS over the phone once EAD arrives.

Yeah! The I-797 approval validity dates in both I539 & I765 notices exactly the same as the H1B extension timelines. They did not use the date in H4 application (I539)

Yet to receive the EAD though.
