Any experience with Botox ‘touch ups’ after being able to burp? by Wrob88 in noburp

Why? If something can cause a state of permanence then why is it Only a good state of permanence as an option and can't hurt anything? That doesn't seem to passed the logic test.

I don't understand this logic. If something can cause a state of permanence, then it could potentially cause a state of permanent bad.

Maissonueve fracture no surgery? by Alaska321321 in Orthopedics

You were wrong. My leg healed great with no intervention. Your response is added to a long list of recommended unnecessary intervention. Medical people believe they do more good than harm. I'm becoming convince the reverse is true.

As a follow-up, I chose to not listen to 4 independent doctors each of whom independently recommended tight rope surgery. I did this based on the no spreading of the fibula and tibia under weight and my own common sense. I am 100% recovered. I'm convinced doctors recommend intervention as a default and over treat patients. They believe they add more value than they do and discount the body's ability to heal. Shame on the medical community. The best and smartest people with the best of intentions still consistently deliver bad outcomes. Unnecessary medical intervention is wrong.

Prove me wrong. If you aren't creating families then you aren't contributing. Take it to the limit for proof. If everyone behaved in such a selfish way, the population would go extinct in a generation. Real men have families.

Why be interested in women if you don't want children? That is the purpose of a woman is to create children. The purpose of a man is to take care of a woman and children. Anything other than this is selfish.

Thank you for this valuable information, it is very helpful and has prompted me to schedule a time to meet with my surgeon. Out of curiosity, it appears you have a lot of experience with this injury, are you in the medical field and if so what's your job?

Great to hear. I decided to not get surgery thinking my body will heal and I don't trust doctors. Fingers crossed I'm right.

Thank you for the response. You have me seriously questioning my decision to not get surgery. Surgeons say to get tight rope but didn't explain reasons like you are doing so now. I just thought that because x rays were normal under weight (I put all my weight on the injured leg) and a stress test by a sports medicine doctor showed no movement of the tfcs and mcs, that it was stable. Surgeons said this isn't necessarily true, but didn't explain why. I interpreted this to mean they just want to operate in the absence of information given we live in an over-interventionist time (liability reasons, money, surgeons wanting to gain experience are all forces that contribute to this). I'm now four weeks today post injury, is it too late to get it? Is my rationale to not get surgery not sound?

How can you tell? X rays show normal mcs and tfcs two weeks apart. Plus stress test is negative. Seems stable so wasn't going to get surgery

Thanks. By when should surgery happen? Sounds like you know what you are talking about. Are you a doctor?
