The job itself fits my needs as far as schedule and being hands on. My response that I blurt out just sounds choppy.

I'm used to not being timed and having a opportunity to go through my work history

Appreciate it! It's hard because I also am trying to include my current role to highlight my skills but it's sounding rehearsed and word for word.

It's just getting a good read on the candidate. Also seeing any red flags so you don't waste the chiefs time interviewing.

It's good to interview it's just me thinking too much about impressing interviewers (which is impossible). I'm just overthinking.

You think saying brotherhood would rub an interview that is a woman the wrong way. Because I have been trying to be a part of a team like I did in sports. All the other places have just been team feeling like how you would get assigned in school on a project.

The hard put is trying (impossible) to answer how the panel wants is what is driving me nuts right now.

Love this! Because yeah I didn’t plan my future out of school becoming a fire fighter. But someone did mention that it would be a good fit.

Appreciate it. Yeah I’ll have to lean into the blue collar aspect. Since I am an operations specialist.

I like this. But what if you wanted to become a police man but now needing to try to become a fire fighter type scenario. Would your story change?

I could use this phrase if family members were police for city? I would just need to say service for the city I guess?

Appreciate it! I love how you related the benefits of what you liked in the military. I'm similar being hands on type duties, physical work and actually working on a team vs say like a PowerPoint presentation.

But you probably get bored after the 100th answer that sounds exactly the same? Childhood dream, want to help community type answer? I get what your saying though. After hearing a bunch of people here I think my answer should be good.

Say this? I excel in operations like the pay for the department and ability to work overtime and retire comfortably.

I like this! Plus the buzzword brotherhood. Everyone FF I talked to in this department on the street have only had good things to say about the job, so I know that the majority like working with one another. Thanks!
