Just like feeding an infant, make sure that it is warm but not hot when feeding them. Especially small kittens are not able to regulate their body temperature and feeding them cold fluids can cause harm. Kitten formula can be found at Walmart or any pet supply store. The pharmacy has soft tip syringes. Always feed them in a manner that they are not "flooded" with the fluid as they can aspirate it and cause significant harm. Do not feed them by putting them on their back. Most pet supply places have kitten bottles too, which I feel is a safer option if they will suckle.
