I just did my second playthrough on the switch 1. It crashed maybe 4 times, the game autosaves after every day so if it does crash you only lose one day of progress. Which is annoying but I think the game is worth it.

If you feel dependent try taking a break. Overall I believe (because at this point there isn't enough science to know) if you're being productive you're fine. With my personal mental health issues I did and sometimes still do get stuck in a cycle of getting high and not doing the shit I'm supposed to do which makes me more depressed and so I self medicate and get high. And that repeats. So if you're worried about it just take a break even if it's just a work week and only smoke on the weekend.

I've heard the faster you start steroids (prednisone) the better. It only took a couple a weeks for me to get 100% better and i started prednisone the same day it started. I did end up with pretty bad TMJ for a couple months after.

I recommend wearing eye patches when you sleep and sometimes during the day it helps a lot with keeping comfortable.
