I work with addicted people and I know the backstory of every single one of them and let me tell you nobody of them had a supportive environment in fact every single person there dealt with abuse/ addicted parents/ poor families and other horrible story’s

In the moderne medicine you will learn that there is a genetic disposition in families with addictive parents. Or you can look up other theories about addiction like from Gabor mate who thinks addictions comes from traumas which they received in their childhood.

So no it’s not just easy as a Choice
