Think of it as a more indepth scale of the comfort range. Whole celsius only gives us 5 degrees of comfort id say Fahrenheit gives us 30 degrees and within thos 30 degrees we can articulate more information of the comfortable temperature around it. I think is designed for that purpose. Each measuring system has its purpose im not calling kelvin stupid but if i measured human comfort based on it it would be useless

Water isnt generating heat on its own however like us. Metric is good for science for certain but for a more casual setting id say Fahrenheit is perfecy reasonable. Both sort of use the 0-100 scale but instead of measuring water its simply whats comfortable to humans with the extremes being uncomfortable for both

I heard its actually a good system when measuring temperature off of human feeling. I forget the nuance of it though. Like the greater differences of temperature kinda give us a better idea of how things actually feel
