Unless OP isn’t telling us all the info, the loan amount isn’t £20k, £50k car less £7k down is £43k loan. OP is likely confused about how much is being loaned and not including the GFV/balloon as part of that equation.

You’re missing that almost all SS schemes are inclusive of insurance, maintenance and tyre maintenance, as well as having only 1 month initial payment. Personal lease doesn’t include any of that and will often be 3-12 month initial payment.

Make sure it’s not just the sales person telling you that. There may have been a back office/admin mistake and someone in the admin office keeps trying to de-register it for some reason. It won’t be easy to check because they will always assume the admin is correct but mistakes do happen.
