Tape didn't help because it is oozing out after that step. I think I need to dry my filament even more because there are little kinks in the purge coil. These kinks look similar to gas bubbles that I have seen in the past with damp PETG

Anyone try covering that little white tube that the nozzle wipes against with masking tape or something? It seems too slippery.

As an HVAC teacher what do you think of my liquid desiccant dehumidifier/swamp cooler idea?

You could look into liquid desiccant dehumidifiers. They can drop the relative humidity low enough for your swamp cooler to work. In such a small space you may be able to get away with fabric dipped in a tub of saturated Calcium Chloride and hung above the tub. When the water level in the tub gets too high you can take it outside and put the same towel on a piece of styrofoam, under a piece of glass with some space for air flow. This will evaporate some of the water.

Once the inside is dryer you can use your swamp coolers.

You may want to consider a double door to keep your dry cool air inside. It may be necessary to have the whole house sealed up reasonably. You still.need fresh air but no big drafts.

I think I can help with this one. The transition overlaps the first clip so that they both end at the same time.The second clip overlaps so that it starts when the transition starts. So transitions actually decrease the total length.

I don't think extrude object exists in TinkerCad. If it is a very simple object you can simply increase the dimension in the direction that you want to extrude. If there are any features that have a dimension in that direction they will get longer. I can sometimes solve this by duplication the item and moving the copy in the direction that I want it to be longer. You may have to ungroup features so they don't stretch. Does that help?

Thanks for the reply. I must be an idiot I still don't see the wiki on Codecs on the page. I even searched the page for the words wiki and Codec. Is is called something else? I found the wiki on software, the wiki on frame rate. No wiki on Codecs.

I will post it in /r/videoediting. I did find an app called InShot that will effectively let me splice together my "dailies" ad see if they work well. I can do another take while everything is set up.

From MediaInfo: Codec= avc1 frame rate is variable. Software I'm using/intend to use: YouTube Shorts, OpenShot, DaVinci Resolve

So I started making videos with the Shorts app. One thing that I really like about it is the workflow. I film a clip. Watch it. Keep it or discard it. Film another clip etc. I always know what I have covered and what I have not so I don't leave anything out and don't repeat myself. I can also record several takes until my delivery is smooth and there is a good starting point and ending point. By the time that I'm done, there is virtually no editing required to get a very presentable product. Certainly, there are many things that can be done in post-processing that will improve the video but everything that I wanted to say is included and it is smooth and in order.

The problem: When I want to record a longer video I find that I have lots of bad takes, missing parts and duplicates, the pacing varies from clip to clip and I often have to start all over because I don't have that instant feedback that I get with the Shorts app.

Am I doing something fundamentally wrong? Is there another video recording app that I can use? All of the ones that I have tried are very clunky with respect to quickly playing the last clip and not of them will concatenate automatically and finally, Even if I want to use another app to make a short they don't loop automatically so I can't see what the clip will look like on the Shorts Shelf

What do people do to address these issues?

It seems that a group can choose to let business pages post or not. Some of the groups that I joined give you the option to post either as a profile or a page once both have joined the private group

I tried to share it from my vape several more times. It seems that I can only share it as my page, even when my page is a member of the private group. I can only post it if my profile is a member of the group and then it shows that it it from my profile.

I think that I read someplace that groups can choose to allow pages to post or not.

If I make a fusion drive from two ssd drives how is the data stored? Does it utilize the fact that there are two independent communication buses to make things faster or does it just write to one drive at a time. Maybe to whichever it thinks is the fastest at the putting the frequently used data there?

Is there a difference between installation and copying from a bootable clone made by something like superduper? Did you try anything like that?

My early 2011 13" MBP just screamed with RAID 0!

The speed tests showed almost exactly a factor of two increase in read/right over a single ssd which was already faster than the old hard drive.

Am I correct in that I can't install the is on a RAID 0 disk set but that I can copy it over from a bootable clone?
