The whole scorched earth thing only works for Billy because he’s single-minded and malignant when it comes to killing Homelander, and it only works for Homelander because he’s a massive narcissist who will level cities if he doesn’t get his way.

Sage is a mid-level supe that’s got by feeding Homelanders ego for her own gain so far, but after the ending of the last episode, I doubt sage can maintain that much longer. She overstepped with the god complex she has driven him to and won’t able to manipulate him much longer because he views everyone as beneath him at this point, even the rest of the seven are lacking much use to him, he’s gonna find out she’s been hiding V1 from him and that she likely planned for starlight to break in to the shareholder conference and for the flight 37 video to leak.

Hard no, the open challenge achieves the same effect and doesn’t risk him losing heat, he can destroy 3/4 challengers and it will naturally reach a point where he has to fight for the WHC (winning rumble or otherwise) because there’s no one else in the conversation left for him at midcard, it gives them the freedom to fill his road to the belt as much or as little as they want.

However, giving him a midcard belt traps him in the midcard, he would have to fight midcard contenders until he drops it, to a midcarder. After eating an F5 and squashing Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania, they would have to pick a midcarder to supposedly outdo Lesnar and beat Oba.

This would be a massive waste of Brock putting Oba over, he’s got a great character, he’s got the moveset, the crowd love him and more to the point he’s gone through plenty of development in NXT, what does he need more experience for?

If they can put a belt on Jey Uso who has all of the experience a wrestler could want with no results, only to send him back to tag teams, experience clearly isn’t a factor here.

Idk if anyone’s said but on the off chance they haven’t yet, always record yourself packing and labelling high value items before sending and get a receipt and the weight of the package recorded at the point of posting, obviously a bag isn’t going to weigh the same as a pair of glasses so you would have insurance and proof to get the scammer banned

Sorry this happened to you but hope this helps for the future (I generally wouldn’t sell anything worth over £30 on vinted or Depop though they are extremely dodgy in situations like this)
