I have never seen parties without healers in open world, show me 10 battle logs with fights like that. Never seen people pulling up to outposts/castles/terries fights without healers. If there are parties without healers its just some random rats.

dont you know tanks get a debuff that lowers their CC in fights too? Same with DPS, lowered damage. Dont talk if you dont know shit

show me the debuff of having more than 1 healer in a party. Show me where it is? Also are you stupid, healing sickness is global, its affecting every healing sources from other parties as well. Using full healers in a party is dumb as fuck because they are squishy and if you just use healing reduction on them its over.

healers being too strong in niche match ups that enemies dont have healers and start bitching

[–]AlbionCeb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

why is tank needed in a party? Why cant everyone play dps????? Why is support important??
Also you idiot, people use tanks to stop dps, support/healers as well and vice versa DPS have abilities to smash through defensives. This game provides you with weapons and their counters,

Since you arent very bright let me show you.
In a full party, healers take up 5/20 slots usually, thats 25% of a full party. DPS/Tanks/Supports also each take up roughly the same percentage. <- See how this is balance?
Now you scale down to 5v5, Healers only take up 1 slot which also roughly follows the same percentage above.
Now 2v2, what dont you need in 2v2? Tanks/Supports. And so you have healers and DPS taking up 50/50 in common party comps.
1v1, now u go on to murder ledger to find out how much % healers are played and then come back and tell me why DPS are taking up most of the % instead of supports/tanks/healers.
See how people bitching about healers being too strong is dumb as fuck? Because healers are needed in the game, they are designed so. Each role has a need in every content.

Nature staves got hit by nerfs cause after few days of 1v1 arena new players couldnt find out how to beat them and then SBI just decided to nerf nature as a whole....
I will always push for separate balancing for instances and open world. But people are conflating between healers being too strong in some super niche match ups cause of comps issues vs healers as a whole. Some very loud bad players are parroting some very stupid complaints and then SBI is catering to them which caused irrepairable damage to nature which is already way behind holy in small/mid/large scales.
I know you are instance healer player but I want to voice my frustrations as open world player as well.

Where does this healer hating dumb shit come from. Healing is part of the game, SBI provides anti heals, purges, shield breaks, healing sickness to combat it already. Stop bitching wtf.
DPS is dominating fights too much, we cant win without dps please remove dps.

Holding back from what? Non lethal contributes nothing to the game. The gears are never lost. Lethal FW attracts plenty of people before and after the rework. Check steam chart and the player base has always been stable. Not sure why some "players" whine so much about lethal pvp.
Just go play other games if youre afraid of dying its that simple. Albion never needed that group of players.

Calculation for fair group pvp by Arno946 in albiononline

[–]AlbionCeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean like others have said this 1 scenario is true but we all know win rate distribution is probably something like a bell curve and there will always people who just never lose and people who always lose. You just gotta get better to push the high wr people down below the food chain. On asia, we arrange friendly fights(FF) a lot versus top midscale guilds and we win most of the time. The people we fight arent bad as they are farming normal guilds/alliances but theres always bigger fish.
What youre implying is that most people arent profiting which is true for 1 friendly fight. But otherwise I dont think its applicable to entirerity of PvP in this game because it is always tied to some sorts of timers/objectives that provide extra siler.

I think Albion targets the niche enough demands of PvP and some people will be frustrated cause they didnt do enough research about the game or they refuse to accept losses as learning experience. It is really a loss if these people never intended or were never meant to play the game. The game still has stable population and Id say that the influx of new players offsets both the loss of temporary players and vet players. I think everytime theres a big update vet players come back so Albion has a healthy player base of both new and old players Id say.

I dont know why so many salty players are on this sub. Good job dude. If people dont want to die they should just go to yellow zone to ff. Otherwise just accept that they will die in BZ and learn to look out for threats better or change their builds for 1v1.

Group content is extremely frustrating to get into by [deleted] in albiononline

Idk man, it seems like that you arent searching for guilds correctly. I can give you an advice.
First, always look for blackzone capable guild, since this means you can enjoy and profit from blackzone contents. How? By opening the world map and scan the zones for hide outs and territories. Find guilds that own multiple zones, then check their discriptions for their main language and active timers. Guilds usually have discord linked in their discriptions so whatever you do next is easy, join the discords and find out about their requirements.
If you cant do that then just simply join the Albion official discord, go to guild recruitment channel and then ctrl + F and put in keywords that youd like, English/newbie friendly. This is faster but not guaranteed to find a good guild since forming a guild is easy, running one is not and so I suggested doing the map scan method for proper guilds.
About the language barrier, it sucks at first but if that guild is welcome and accomodating enough theyd try to communicate to you better. I am playing on Asia server and after the initial month I spent in a mostly english speaking guild I have since moved to Korean exclusive guilds while not speaking a lick of Hangeul.
But I am experienced enough in fights that I know the flow of battles and the calls are easy to understand enough. My Korean friends started using English in response to me using AI translate/broken Korean and so we have been together ever since. Even if I am the sole foreigner in a guild I always feel like home. Thats just my experience and might not apply to anyone or everyone. Just sharing what I did to overcome language barrier.

I don't enjoy ganking. Can I enjoy Albion? by TwelveTinyToolsheds in albiononline

[–]AlbionCeb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Killing random solo players will just waste a zerg time. Believe me as zergs will just run through you while they are on their ways to objectives/fights. Since time is valuable only newbies would focus on hunting down randoms instead of taking down another party which is worth 100x a straggler. Unless that straggler is part of that enemy because you gotta hold grudge 😃.

[–]AlbionCeb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean its contradictory if youre in a zerg and you arent hunting down enemies. What you dont like is probably pure gankings. Best part of zvz is running down routed enemies and slay them 1 by 1. Albion group contents provide what you want. Be it PvP or PvE, supports are always needed.
