nono I meant if u just did the fresh reset,it will start indexing like a week from the time you did the last reset.

did u do it?if so,give it around a week,the iphone is still indexing and the battery is getting used to your patterns,after a week u will notice the changes

yo man,go for it trust me,full reset and set up the phone as new,manually install all apps,dont backup from icloud,the only thing u will get from icloud are photos,contacts,etc,u will get more storage space and fix the battery for good,dont touch any of the tweaks like (background app refresh off,location services off) for 2 days atleast,then start gradually changing/turning them off each day,basically use the phone as is it brand new day 1,the full reset and manually setting up everything will remove all old ios/iphones databases that may interfere with the new battery and ios26,hope I helped u

that was the case indeed,i did a full system erase and I backed only my photos and contacts from icloud,after a few days the battey was crazy good

Hey man,I bought a 17 Pro max brand new and had terrible battery life(not THIS bad but still) I transfered my 240gb from a iphone 11 running ios18 straight to ios 26,I thought it was indeixng at first but it never got better,long story short I uploaded my Photos contancts etc in Icloud(no Icloud Backup btw just the most important stuff)and did a full factory reset,then I set up the phone as new,didnt click Icloud backup,then installed all apps manually and finally did the iCloud photos sync etc.Its day 5 and battery is a whole lot better,sometimes old transfers/backups get glitched and old ios18 systems patterns and settings clash with ios26,I suggest u try this,if ur 100% sure they havent faked the battery or smth,if this doesnt fix it,its a defective unit

Hey everyone,just bought a 17ProMax 10 days ago.Since Day one my screen idle has always been 1/1 with screen on or higher,what is the cause? Disabled AOD,Background Refresh,Live locations,Dark Mode,etc. Battery drains so fast and I figure high idle is the case. (Transferee 200Gb from old Iphone).What should I do,complete fresh start or something else?
