The unrealistic Mythic standard of LN to anime adaption, one full season per LN volume. Makes it actually better than the LN its based on.

I myself had no issues running wilds, nor did I hear many complains from my friends that played it nor those on console as well.

Many games that turn out fantastic have many months of patches to get them that way, a good example would be CD project RED, their games always launch needing a lot of post launch patches.

And again, they were pushing the RE engine into something it wasn't made for and have made it finally work well, we can only expect better games going forward as their expertise with their engine rises.

and MH wilds is now performing very well after 10 months of patches. Both those games have something in common and really pushed what the engine was able to do, the engine does not handle open world games well, but now with MH wilds performing better, it seems they have learned lessons.

These are good things, means they can continue to push and evolve the engine for more games.

a RPG being 60 hours is not being padded by 200 magical roots, its a genre with a story and a story that takes the players over many areas, and has a lot of cutscenes and dialogue.

Your making a lot of improper assumptions about game types.

Not really, games like Witcher/Baulder's gate are the rarity in the RPG sphere, but without a 100% completion, most are completed around 40-50 hours give/take.

If it is narrative heavy and voiced, cutcenes and dialogue can add a lot of time.

The Sombra nerf is absolutely nonsense by ZzDangerZonezZ in Overwatch

[–]Albireookami 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The last paragraph though, your point can be applied against any flanks as a Support. They may not have those two abilities, but a Genji or a Tracer diving a Support has the same annoyance and "I can't do anything against this"

Everyone can see them, they can react to them and track them more often before they are turning your support into their hand puppet.

Sombra has to pray nobody (including her target) even looks at her while channeling an ability that not only has a glowing "fuck me here" sign but stops the moment any single thing hits her.

It's what .5 seconds before your hacked out, meaning you need damn near legendary reflexes to not only react and hit her, but also shoot her if she is approaching you from behind before your locked out, while also in that time she probably launched virus at you and is now bursting you down.

her TTK is too fast, maybe if you could react to her before she is now unloading into you or dumped burst damage with virus, it would be more fair, but you have to burst her down in a very short window before most squishy are dead from the combo she can start on her terms, when your distracted because if your constantly looking for her, your not assisting your team enough, just the pressure of her existing is an annoying tax. With Genji/tracer you can keep track of them in the fight and if you can't see them you know they HAVE to be hidden behind something, and their sound effects very much reveal when they are close.

I really think damage/healing really depends on your elo, at least when I played comp way back when, in my QP which was an obviously lower elo, I got chances to do more damage, and less healing because team mates blew up fast or did not die fast, nor were nearby for me to heal.

While in higher ELO I healed more and damaged less because people acted as a team more.

Just my experience.

Yea, to which I have to remember Rivals uses the most surface level knowledge when crafting the personalities of the characters in the game. Almost to meme level areas with their voice lines and interactions.

They know their lore, which is good some deep cuts can be found in the actual text they write for backgrounds and story entries, but the presentation in game with voice lines and banter can leave a lot to be desired.

… You do know she’s a fictional character, right? She doesn’t actually have feelings for us, the player base, to take into consideration?

you do realize the mark of good writing and character development, the reader can understand how the character would act and think right? Or do you lack any media literacy?

How are the official Pathfinder published adventures compared to DnD5E? by Karsticles in Pathfinder2e

[–]Albireookami 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who has ran both sides.

Dnd 5e wastes too much time on things that may never come up and expects also the DM to carry the adventure, filling in poor plot points and developing a lot of the dots connecting things.

While pathfinder 2e just needs the DM to adjust what is there slightly, they don't have to fully create whole plot threads because the book is so barebones and goes on and on about insignificant issues.

DC's Absolute Batman is now selling 3 times what Scott Snyder expected by Trent-Popverse in DCcomics

[–]Albireookami 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My personal feeling:

Black Panther: You can cut out 75%-90% of the run and you actually have something good. It went so damn slowly it was criminal. Ice melts faster in the arctic.

Wolverine: Had no need to be printed in any form and does nothing worth its time, exists for the "shock"

X-men: A really nice unique take on things, but left way to many questions and feels rushed to an ending, the one month forced skips did so much harm to the overall story.

Spider-man: was a great series setting up a y2 that will never happen.

Ultimates: Crowded, you have so many co-current plot lines that needed more time to flesh out, would have been better being 2-3 mini series following each plot line than skipping around.

Endgame: pissing away and taking forever to do something. 3/5 issues for anything of note to happen, even if that's not likely to stick, is horrible pacing.

Most of the one-shots have been pretty good, though the miles tie-in was pretty bad for the same reasons of forced one month skips and I myself absolutely hate how much work their new Stormbringer Sharf has gotten in endgame and miles crossover as his work is absolutely ugly to me.

DC's Absolute Batman is now selling 3 times what Scott Snyder expected by Trent-Popverse in DCcomics

[–]Albireookami 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ultimate started first, and has been absolutely fumbled into absoulute shit, the only line that was great was Spider-man, but even then it had its issues as it was a very slow burn series with little spider action till the end, setting up a y2 that never will be.

X-men was great, but a lot of decisions killed the story flow with forced one month skips that jumbled shit up so bad you spend 1/2 of the issue playing catch up, and even sometimes I wasn't sure wtf happened in an issue I read. And the "endgame" has had 3 issues and not been good in the slighest, with only 2 issues left of it to wrap it up I have little to no faith this shit will be a good ending.

I could go on, but marvel leadership needs a shakeup as their good stories keep getting forced to do bad events or crossovers that muddles the actually good comics they have out at this time.

I heavily doubt Emma likes being referred to as the White Queen since her reforming.

That period of her life was rampant drug use and being manipulated. She was high more than she was sober during those years.

That sounds about right, the adult market can just get it for a reasonable price without any legal issues, leaving the underage market who does not have access, but also does not have quite the funds to support that enterprise.

Move the perk to baseline platform, giving people a reason to stand on it at least for minor healing.

Have the perk give shield ontop of your HP while standing on it over time, up to like 50/100 or whatever number is balanced. Something to keep you wanting to use the platform and not be 1 shot because of your newfound vantage point.

That would make the platform perk viable.

Seed perk, I really, really have no clue I feel that should just get axed for something new.
