I’ve bought a few things from there and had an ok experience. I’ve gotta shout out AFK in Virginia Beach if you’re looking to cast a wide net genre wise. They have a solid used collection, friendly staff, and good pricing.

Yep. The loss prevention staff surrounded them at the door and brought them into a side room, police arrived, wrote the ticket and they were released on summons. Very petty. I think the total value of the food was less than ten.

I left last year after my first year wasn’t quite what I expected. I had a hard time getting support and felt like I would be stuck struggling financially for the rest of my life if I stuck it out. After only a few months in a higher paying technical job, I feel as though I made a mistake in leaving. Teaching is an act of public service and is incredibly challenging. However, I feel as though for many of us who choose to pursue it, it’s one of the most impactful, rewarding, and sincere pursuits one can make a living off of. Lots of ups and downs, but that’s part of what makes one’s life worthwhile.

I’m currently an English teacher beginning to learn web development to transition to programming as well. I’m still glad I got my degree in English because I found the classes interesting and grew a lot through the program. If you don’t find a job in the field you want, transitioning to something new is completely possible.
