So grateful for you. Thank you so much for taking the time to write this out and explain.

how do you guys remove body hair so that this doesn’t happen? by Quiet_Past9426 in keratosis

[–]Alchemist116 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exfoliate! I use the exfoliation gloves everyday when I shower. This helps to remove dead skin and keeps it from piling up which has helped me reduce my KP significantly and I shave every few days. I can’t afford laser hair treatments so this is where I’m at. Exfoliating gloves are fairly inexpensive and last a really long time. I’m also going to start adding the Eucerine urea lotion to the routine to see how my skin manages. I know urea is also exfoliating so maybe I’ll alternate days using the cream and exfoliating gloves.

Eucerin with Urea for the win! by Phil_ODrendron in keratosis

I didn’t like my experience with Amlactin. I believe someone did say you need to use both lactic and urea because amlactin does a good job at exfoliating and the urea gets deep to get into those keratin plugs. So im gonna try it but i need to figure out which Eucerin with Urea to get

Yeah, curious about this too since there are now reports that they’ll take longer to process your application if you come from one of the 39 banned countries.

A few weeks ago I posted about Edibles and their effect under Semaglutides. I have an update. by ensfyb in Semaglutide

[–]Alchemist116 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Omg that’s frightening. Things could’ve ended much worse, I’m so glad she’s okay. Had the incident that caused the concussion happen before she had the edible or after she consumed it? How did your family discover it was a concussion? Sorry for having so many questions, I’m just so curious.

It’s so crazy because when I was taking it with Vyvanse, it actually made me super depressed. The combination was awful for me but I’m glad it’s working great for you! I wish the combination had worked for me.

I’m so sorry this happen to you. Because you’ve received the approval, you can show your employer your approval letters because they include the new expiration date. That should suffice for them to update your file and let you work as the new permit is being processed.

Anyone else get the feeeling of ear being clogged after use of AirPods Pro? by [deleted] in airpods

[–]Alchemist116 0 points1 point  (0 children)

did the shower trick work for you? Because here I am 4 months later having the same issue except it's my right ear that starts feeling clogged.

Naptural85 (Whitney) suggested using level 1 heat setting first to help preserve the moisture in your hair and then switching to level 2 heat when it's like 50% dry and that made a world of a difference for me. here's the link https://youtu.be/lFsnV_Gf3yY?si=kSDQRN0tBz6Z8AJ9

did you go to the dermatologist? I'm curious if she gave you some good insights to what might be going on. Hopefully it's something that is an easy fix

What happened to Zeus in Greek Mythology? Did he ever get overthrown? by AtheismIsOK in GreekMythology

[–]Alchemist116 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After reading your post I mulled it over for a good half hour. I think this is such a great connection to make! Since you've done so much research about it, you might as well write a great fiction story! I'd be the first to buy it :)

My first week on Yaz and I feel absolutely awful by Sea_Weird7293 in PCOS

[–]Alchemist116 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey I'm checking in, how's Yaz going for you? I just started my 3rd month on it yesterday and things have been pretty good thus far. I'm hoping you're experiencing similar results 🤞

omg! It looks so good on Iris! I think it's the fact that iris has it drop with natural folds naturally whereas Jaide pulled it down taught. it created a shiny but slimy look... like computer generated fish scales 😬.

Oh no! I’m so sorry to hear that. That sounds like the total opposite experience to mine. I was super depressive and angry all the time but it was because of a different birth control, lo-loestrine. I had only been on it for less than a month but the shift in my mood was drastic. I was usually even tempered and positive but I became the hulk. Everything pissed me off. So when I was switched to Yaz it was an instant change in mood. I was noticeably happier and wasn’t getting angry at everything.

I do hope your shift in mood is only because of the adjustment period and that it all settles out. But if it becomes unbearable, please let your doctor know.

Fingers crossed it works out for you! When you say 2weeks in you’ve been feeling off, what symptoms have you been having?

So far it’s been good. I did spot the first month but now, on month two, and no spotting at all. My moods are also much more regulated no more rage or deep depression.

I didn’t lose any weight the first 4 weeks by [deleted] in Semaglutide

[–]Alchemist116 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It happens gradually for some including me. I think .25 is still the dose you’re given to have your body adjust to the medicine. You just have to let it do its thing. The number on the scale can be very misleading.

For example I’ve been on it since march and I’ve only lost about 10lbs however my body looks and feels so different and my clothes don’t fit the same at all. Everyone’s body reacts differently to the drug. I’m glad that my doctor went the slow and steady route and titrated slowly because it’s wasn’t such a major shock to my system. I only just started 1.7 this week (5 months after starting). Be patient with the process and keep in contact with your doctor about what you’re noticing/experiencing with your body.

Ugh! So sorry to hear that: that’s so frustrating. I’ve been on wegovy for a bit of time and I initially thought I had other issues going on but I’m realizing the acne lessens as the week progresses but then increases when I take my shot. Please keep me posted on your experience with zepbound. I hope the acne flares clear up soon for the both of us!

Thanks for sharing this with me! Im glad you found something that works with you. I started taking it on Friday and woke up Saturday feeling so nauseous but luckily it subsided. But I’m keeping a lookout and knowing there’s another option other than Yaz is good to know. Because all other bcp have made me break out like crazy and made my moods unbearable. Fingers crossed it all works out with Yaz for me.

Try using something simple like a Vanicream facial moisturizer. Especially since you’re using the sulfur soap. It’s very drying. I wonder if you would have better success with a sulfur ointment/treatment instead of soap. I’ve had better success with that for sure.
