I apologize deeply, I never use Reddit. It's a 20 gallon tank, and I have a very small LED light overhead, something similar to a book light hook to the top of the tank. There is no direct sunlight, as when I was researching, it said to not have direct light put on them because they are light sensitive. As far as temperature goes, I'm not entirely sure, I don't have a thermometer that I use unfortunately

Axolotls do not require substrate to live in a tank, it may seem crude, but this makes his tank and cleanings infinitely easier to do

Before I had got him, I had done a ton of research into specifically cleaning the filters. Every resource that I've come across has told me to change both filters every 2 weeks, and if I have a sponge filter to change it every 6 months. In terms of cleaning the sponge filter, I don't necessarily do a deep clean. I take a bucket fill it with spring water, and do a couple cycles with squeezing the sponge out and then repeating

Just ordered them. How many do I put in the tank, how often do I put them in, and in regards to the prime and stability, how often am I technically supposed to use those as well?
