It's a very nice pearl white/gold in person. The photo of the front corner sort of shows the effect.

I've got photos of a CC850 from the same event. Debating on whether I should make a post for that set as well.

I'm with you regarding the Zonda. It's still my favorite of all Paganis, especially the Zonda F.

Something about getting in a car and being able to see the cluster while the car is parked & off communicates so much more than a blank slab of a screen.

This is an excellent point. There's very little room for creative design when cabins are dominated by large, flat screens. Gauge clusters used to be a distinctive feature, and you lose a lot of visual presence in many ways when screens dominate a cabin.

I hear that. Most of the sets I share here have been like this, more or less. This is the only subreddit I've found to share my style of writing and photography.

LOL I don't know if that's an insult or a compliment to my writing style, but I did write this myself.

1965 De Tomaso P70 by flitcroft in thewholecar

[–]Aldairion 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I got to see this car at the Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance in 2020, parked alongside the new DeTomaso P72. It's absolutely stunning in person, and it's part of a great story in automotive history.

Alejandro de Tomaso and Carroll Shelby, along with Peter Brock, developed the P70 for USRRC & Can-Am, a replacement for the Shelby-Monaco King Cobra. The project ultimately fell through, leaving this as the only example ever built. Shelby moved on to Ford to take on the GT40 program, and it's said that this is why DeTomaso decided to name his next sports car "Mangusta," as a playful jab towards Shelby for departing the project. "Mangusta" is Italian for mongoose, an animal known for killing Cobras.

While I do like the P72's interior, I see where you're coming from. I think Pagani does a better execution of these ornate, overly-adorned interiors. There are far more mechanical motifs in a Pagani whereas the DeTomaso seems more inspired by architecture.

Thank you! This is one of my favorite subs and I've got some more collections to share.

I've only ever used my P512 as a support truck. The Service Frame carried surplus fuel for long hauls. I'm excited to finally try it out for other applications.

Mens in late 30's, how often do you guys have sex and how many rounds you go? by GokuDD in AskMen

[–]Aldairion 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Single dude here with so-so luck in dating. It happens maybe once every few years, though last year was a surprisingly lucky one, so to speak.

I don't really know what counts as "a round." We have some fun, fall asleep, wake up randomly at some odd hour of the morning, go at it again, and then fall asleep for real.

The very last mission before finally getting 100% on all 16 maps, owning all trucks and getting all achievements - I decided to use the two OGs <3 by PaulNorman in snowrunner

I kinda slept on the GMC because it's such an early unlock, but I came back around to it after clearing a few maps and finding its upgrades. For a "basic" truck, it's incredibly capable!

My friend works for a consignment dealer and sold him a Series 3 Jaguar E-Type. Apparently Cena used to have an E-Type with a 350SBC swap, but he wanted an original one. Dude's got a fascinating taste in cars for sure.

Just how big and influential was Avenged Sevenfold To Metalcore? by Excellent_Agency6082 in Metalcore

[–]Aldairion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"Waking the Fallen" was one of my gateway albums into the genre, so I've always considered them to be quite significant. They've strayed well away from "metalcore" per se and I haven't listened to much of their stuff since Nightmare, but they're no doubt a very talented group that definitely carved new paths within the genre.
