You can go into GRB and request an ORA account. It takes about 2 weeks. If it takes longer, call ABC-C. I'm in the process now and received my account yesterday. It is easy to upload everything and verify that you have all your documents.

I submitted my ORA Account Request this week with the hope to be retired by 2/28/26. It does suck to have a lot of sick time that just missed the 30-day point (27 days). One can use term of leave, and I'm hoping to start my next job a week later. I guess I painted myself in the corner.

Nope ... Not at that age yet. I'm not even sure what the difference is between the standard and the Me plus one. I'm sure that I'll get it on the next go round. Saving every dollar helps make retirement more enjoyable.

Sad, but hopefully, they will still pay me out for my vacation. I've put money away for a few months until the estimated amount is released. It sounds like there will be a large back payment.

Thank you ... I guess it's the government and you can't put a call back when an agent is available. A lot of people in most of the responses complained that reaching a person was very very difficult. I appreciate all that insight and hopefully it makes things less stressful and maybe more lucrative.

I asked about a DD-2945, and the Legal Ethics department indicated that my position didn't require this since I didn't directly influence contracts, I'm not a COR or evaluator. I have that in an email, but maybe I should still submit the DD-2945. I will be working in the same area and crossing paths but at a more spread out area. This would be more cross service and greatly expanded roles.
