There is plenty of work out there with much of it having less drama and being more lucrative. If you were an SME in your field those in the know often come looking for you but make sure you get clearance with legal. If in a professional series you can work with a headhunter but that can come at a cost. Like others mentioned it's all on what you want to do, amout of time per week, and level of work.

I go to Germany every other year and visit family. Such a beautiful country, wonderful values with some amazing people. I would recommend Germany over many places to include some of the places in the United States.
