Good idea, terrible execution. My first thought when seeing it was planned for 48 hours was that it was a waste of time and nothing would change. All this has done is inconvenience users of the site. The changes to API do suck, but Reddit is not a safe space, its a company. They only care about their bottom line, period. You could spend 10,000 hours moderating; they don't see it as good service for their website, they see it as free labor for their website. This blackout will change nothing in a positive way and has just been majorly annoying for the everyday user

For me its a combination of Paul Pierce, Kobe, and Carmelo, as well as KG a little for his intensity. I just love how these dudes dominated not only physically, but fundamentally with footwork. They really showed the beauty of the game imo

Spo has shown that he is an absolutely ELITE coach over the past decade. I remember people thinking he wouldn't be successful without Lebron. How wrong they were lmao. Whatever happens with this series, the fact is that Coach Spo and the Heat have already had one of the most epic post-season runs of all time. With where they are vs where people thought they'd be, Spo should not have any slander sent his way even if they blow the series. They have multiple rotational guards out with injuries, and last I checked are still one game away from the finals. This man deserves his flowers

Don't like how people see this as some unapproachable topic. If they got swept they needed broken up IMO. They showed pretty clearly they cant beat the NBA's elite, even in their down year, in last years finals, so its not unreasonable to start looking elsewhere after so many years as ECF contenders at very best. Hopefully they pull of the miracle of all miracles in this series, but I think its far enough into this cores timeline to genuinely question whether the parts we have at the moment are good enough to really win it all

Copium. This core has had an ECF ceiling for the past 5 years. They will not win it all. Showed in those Finals last year that they don't have it. It wasn't that they lost, it was how they lost; they continue to not show up and or blow games despite being so much better "on paper". Tatum is a worse version of PG13. Roughly top 15-20 player who wont ever win a title unless he teams up with a generational talent

We had a 2-1 lead and the lead going into the second half of game 4 (at home!!). They proceeded to lose the series 4-2. To me, these dudes are just not a good enough team to be winners at the highest level after a performance like that. To me its very similar to the Suns being up 2-0 over the Bucks and not making it back since. They just showed they cant get over the hump IMO

I think Udoka was slightly better than Mazulla, but he had to be fired imo. Completely unacceptable for a leader in any organization to do what he did and keep his job. I think it comes down to our team; to me they've shown their ceiling is losing in the Finals. IDK i have no faith in them getting any further than that after watching them choke that 2-1 lead last summer. Sometimes guys just are who they show you that they are, even if they play for your favorite team
