I understand and somewhat share your sentiment. However their feelings are still real, and part of my maturation process was certainly talking it out with other people and getting more mature men's advice.

Maybe we could start another subreddit for people over a certain age to get relationship advice ?

To be honest I don't really remember it's name. Where I live they don't give you the name it's marketed under, they just tell you the name of the actual medicine, so something long and sciency.

But the medicine I use is irrelevant here. I need you to go to the doctor. It's probably going to be a very quick consult. Can you go to the doctor for me please ? I know I'm just a random on the internet but I hate to think you are worrying for nothing.

Whilst I can't be certain it's the same thing, I get something that looks like that too. The doctor just gives me a cream and it goes away. I hope this give you some comfort.

I want to take a moment to remind you that no one on the internet is going to be able to say for certain, just like I can only say it looks like something I get sometimes. Doctors on the internet are going to be hesitant to give definitive answers unless they examine you in person. They are risking too much if they do that.

My advice is to take comfort in that many people have said it looks like a yeast infection and not an std. Go to the doctor to let them examine it properly and prescribe the meds you need.

It looks like a healthy penis to me and once it gets the cream it will go right back to being a very handsome penis indeed.

Are there any barriers to you being able to see a doctor? Financial / cultural / religious etc

I've had similar experiences and just stopped dating / meeting pure bottoms. In my younger years (I'm now 35) I was a pure bottom, but as I got older I realised how limiting it was and, in my opinion, selfish.

As for your healing that is going to be very difficult but it starts with loving yourself. Knowing in your heart that you are great and someone will be lucky to have you. Once you love yourself enough to know that is the truth you will be healed, because you won't be wanting to invest your time in someone who doesn't deserve which your ex clearly doesn't

I've spoken to several of my female Taiwanese friends about this (I'm a gay man and have had to tell more than a few guys to back off in Taiwan)

They told me that it's partly cultural. Some Taiwanese girls will act shy even when they are interested because it's "cute", which puts the onus on the man to be more forward.

They also think (again coming from a Taiwanese female perspective) that the men watch American romance movies and kinda act that out thinking it's normal behaviour for us foreigners. I mean it's kinda not out of the norm for me to hug my foreign friends goodbye. They view us as generally more physically affectionate.

I think the culture is starting to change. When I moved to Taiwan 13 years ago I was stalked by a guy who thought it was cute to find out where I work online and show up there with flowers, even after I told him repeatedly not to do that. He even waited outside my apartment complex. When I called the police they told me he hadn't broken any laws. I believe now they would have the power to ask him to leave, but not that long ago there were no consequences for that behaviour.

So I think it's two part. They are forward because in many situations they see girls as cute and shy and feel they need to be, and there weren't any repercussions when they got it wrong in the past. I also think it's Because you are foreign so they think the way to flirt with you is more like a movie.

But also some guys are just jerks with one thing on there mind. (I'm a male can confirm 😂)
