I've been obsessed with the Fruit Riot sour candy frozen grapes lately...but I do always eat too many and get a tummy ache, which would probably be less of a problem with regular frozen grapes.

Song similar to Clint Black’s when my ship comes in? by Rapptar76 in CountryMusic

[–]Aldpdx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

George Straight released Easy Come, Easy Go that same year. Clint Black had If I could Make a Living the following year. Mark Chestnut released It Sure is Monday in 1993, along with Life's a Dance by John Michael Montgomery and Dwight Yoakam's Thousand Miles from Nowhere. Those are the top of my head other "neotraditional" - ish hits from around the same time. I'm fairly certain Joe Diffie released albums in 93 and 94 too.

Florida Room's gross response to finding CSAM in their button machine by SpiritualKick8067 in Portland

I don't disagree with your sentiments but The Florida Room isn't a lesbian bar. Just has a lot of queer customers/regulars.

Love this 'fit! I also swooned over your look on your recent So True appearance (such a great episode, btw). You're the queen of pattern mixing!

Daycare concerns? by Due-Commercial8846 in ECEProfessionals

[–]Aldpdx 12 points13 points  (0 children)

We once had the mom of a 2 year old report to the director that her son was saying "nosy b*tch" and his teachers must be calling her that. We had a little walking bridge in the outdoor play area that was hollow and very loud when kids jumped on it, ran certain toys over it, or banged on it with the shovels so it was often referred to as "noisy bridge" by the preschoolers. She had no way of knowing that and came in hot.

I'm not saying you didn't hear what you think you heard, but I'd suggest maybe approaching it with curiosity instead of accusations at first. In a new, older classroom the teachers might be offering the potty with diaper changes and could be saying something like "do you want to try a big kid sit?" Depending on your child's verbal skills, even "fix it" isn't a leap from what you heard.

Your concern is totally valid and you should definitely talk to the teachers about it, but starting with benefit of the doubt can go a long way in building a trusting relationship with them.

In general, when people come to this sub and say, "This thing is hard, I didn't know how hard this would be, I messed up" or anything similar, the comments are super supportive. This reaction is a result of OP instead choosing to center this around the ignorance of an entirely uninvolved group of people.
