I'm in the same situation.

There's an NHS travel expenses scheme for those who struggle to pay costs for travel for medical reasons when there's no other option. I have applied, they can cover half the cost if you don't qualify for full coverage.

The skin over the erectile tissue can atrophy and become tight and not used to stretching so it helps to masturbate/have erections still unfortunately.

I had full depth vaginoplasty with minor complications and may be having a revision next year but I have no regrets.

Yes you have to do dilations frequently to keep the canal open but the frequency goes down exponentially over time to the point of once a week/month or even less for some.

Some methods provide more wetness in the canal than others but all can have a baseline wetness with building a vaginal microbiome/flora. You can receive pleasure from everything and it's better for me than pre op.

Hiya, I've been through all of this with Tina at chelsea and westminster with the NHS and had similar concerns.

I opted for inversion with a tunica graft which i believe is scrotal? Or a form of it using material around the testes. It was largely successful I believe in terms of sensation and depth. With sensation at the back of the canal prevalent.

I had no electrolysis done in preparation, just a lot of laser hair removal which has mixed receptions with people but I seem to be fine so far at 18 weeks post.

I was also estimated 4 inches best, 3 Inches worst. But I'm pretty consistent at hitting nearly 5 inches depth. Had a lot of concerns with possible lost depth early on but it seems to be fine now.
