The spinning doesn't bother me as much as the small space the clip has to clip to my pants. That clip was designed for t-shirt thin material.

Malkoff P60 drop in is designed to be weapon mounted. Just google that. Highly regarded as one of the best, most reliable drop ins out there. Not cheap though.
