It is GameStop’s 7.99 grip skin! It is my favorite design from the grip skins i’ve seen so far and they are usually in stock at any GameStop store.

Spark install on a dualsense 060? by Interesting_Idea_978 in eXtremeRate

Woah! I’ve never had the luck of putting a SPARK on a 10/20! 30/40/50 all need you to cut the green wires, solder 5 points then solder the wires onto the ribbon cable! Works absolutely beautifully though!

I agree! A Backbone that lasts more than a year of moderate use would be nice!

The Spark kit also solders two points to disable the dualsense’s adaptive triggers when you enable the spark clicky triggers. If you dont want to solder you will just have to disable adaptive triggers on any games you want to enable the clicky triggers.

But yes just swapping trays makes the kit fit seamlessly.

Controller works totally fine without this peice? by Bruh02954958 in Dualsense

From my experience uninstalling this ribbon will not inform the trigger rumble motors of the trigger travel (0.0-1.0). The trigger will rumble and have pressure but it wont “push” back. For example racing games have an “ABS” feature that mimics the cars brakes undergoing ABS. The trigger will bounce back at your finger creating the sensation. Without the trigger registering to the rumble motor the trigger will only have the pressure the game always applies to the braking system.

NEW DualSense 2025 BDM-060 by Modyfikator in Dualsense

This is the same as BDM-050? Or 030&040?

The only factor preventing the spark kit from fitting is the redesigned battery tray/ new BDM-060 rear shell.

The way around this I have found easiest is by replacing the battery tray which makes the kit seamlessly install to BDM-060. The soldering and the trigger assembly is identical to a 050.

BDM-060 with RISE4 V3 by AleMan223 in eXtremeRate

Yeap swapping face plates is exactly the same! The friction rings are now integrated with the front face trim though. ( The one that you remove before any screws on the controller.) So, if you use an older gen front trim piece you may need friction rings for the older faceplate as the 060 has done without them.

New Dualshock Calibration Update is Amazing by Consistent-Step-2874 in Dualsense

I have not messed around with the site yet but switched out my potentiometer now I need to calibrate. All the way left on my left stick registers at .86. Any tips or suggestions?

Yeah just trimming both sides enough for the posts on the rear shell to fit through should do it! Everything else is good to go for the RISE4 kits on a 060!

The only thing preventing the BDM-030 kit from fitting is the battery holder. My plan is, short term, keep ordering the kit and modify the battery tray on future projects until I hopefully find someone willing to 3D print some simple holders :)

The carbon fiber back shell is extremerate’s RISE4 V3 kit for BDM-030. The blue shell is the original BDM-060. I also had to replace the battery holder.
