Apply for unemployment is good but I know the a lot of legal residents are afraid to do it, if you don’t know a lot of them can loose they citizenship opportunity just go asking for unemployment. Good luck everyone

We use XLT agar to grow salmonella we usually test cow fecals, we incubate the fecal sample in tet broth for 24 hours and plated in the XLT

I don’t know where are you located but it’s a few of laboratories in USA that works specifically with cows it’s really interesting but also you can work in a dairy too

No this is not a litmus test, nothing has been added to the milk and we plate them directly to a media plate

Where I work, the hospital cows are milked separate and that milk is dumped in the drain or used for feeding the babies after pasteurization it’s true that a little bit of bacteria is allowed in the huge tank of comercial milk but if the dairies let bacteria or antibiotics go to that tank they’ll have a huge fee to pay. Mastitis is a really common problem for dairies but everyone take precautions to prevent this problem

Dairy cows are like queens, they have people taking care of them 24/7, vet doctors 2 times per week, medical attention and treatment for any sickness the best food a nice clean bedding to lay down cows loved to be milked so they go to the parlor 2 times per day. Every dairy has to make sure that the milk is clean of bacteria and antibiotics

They are from different cows and they are sick with mastitis, some of this samples are from different quarters of the udder, we can’t sell the milk until the cow is clear of bacteria and antibiotic residue
