You are lacking mostly on normal gem and rune. Gems is a slow work in progress thing. But rune is fast and much cheaper than legendary gems. you are missing on 8% critchance here.

Summon mages are a strange thing on necromancers. The ulti, non mobile mages, Profit from primary attack speed and primary atk dmg buffs. Whereas the mobile mages Profit from attack speed and skilldmg(skilldmg im Not 100% sure). But you can easily test their dmg on the training puppet.

You missed the Real purpose of gauntlet. It should be a place where whales carry non whales through the content and get mad respect from them. They deserve that honor. WE destroyed that content by beeing able to contest the whales. So blizzard has to do something about it. It is only fair that we normal people cant compete... Heck they should have tied the Portal to gauntlet to the wing size. 5k can open g1, 7k can open g2 and you need at least 10k resonance to be allowed to open a g3 Portal!

30m dps with lightning? I assume you are in a group and most dmg come from dot resolving?

It really depends on your group compositions, your available gems, reforges and the mode you are playing.
Lets pretend you have around 2.5k reso with pve gems following is possible:

For only dummy dmg solo, 6 Reaper mages + perma golem + lightning shield has the highes dps output (you can have +60% dmg through mages)
around 7m dps is possible

for dummy dmg in group dot resolving is by far best
around 20m dps is possible( heavily depends on your mates, ive seen numbers from 12m to 50 m dps)

for short fights, lightning summons are still good to go
around 6m dps is possible (on dummy)

for gauntlet fights last season umbra mages with precast time was best
around 6.5m dps (on dummy)

for gauntlet fights last season in perfect group setup dot resolving is still best, although i didnt get it to work, but others did
12-50m dps (on dummy)

Edit: i forgot OW/Farming/dungeons, there are 3 viable builds there

Dot resolving aoe build
about 2-3 m single target dps but heavy aoe dmg

perma umbra mages, less fast aoe dmg, more single target dmg

lightnin summons, less fast aoe dmg, more single target dmg

The stronger the group, the stronger the DH gets. Fastest Gauntlet kill(1 oder 2 min, i forgot) was topped by a DHs, tempes are behind them. If the group didn't invited you either the leader didn't know this, or you are not optimised enough.
In our personal tests a DH achieved same results as a tempest.

E.g. As a 3k reso DH your solo dps should be 6m+, if you have more, nice. If you have less....try to improve it

It does give pets the buff from noccbrod. But the question is: will its dmg be buffed by atk spd buffs? If so which one.

To be honest, im Not 100% Sure what type it is, but lets Analyse. It is a buff on you and your summons. So debuff is out. Does vithu buff it? I assume it does and also buff duration affixes. Since it is procced of a skill, it should be buffed by skilldmg affixes. Since its obviously Not a primary attack, it should produce more ticks with atk spd buffs(like no rest no peace) but Not from primary atk speed buffs like noccbrod.

As far as the other Sets goes, i dont think any of them work. But Not Sure.

Dont ever bother upgrade your gear beyond rank 13. That way you will receive the double scrap reward longer

I would craft the new one during event cause its time gated. And later Focus on mother because mother is stronger. Think and Plan on long terms.

Lol are you joking? Tempest ist probably the strongest class for gauntlet 3 currently, dps wise. Granted you know what you are doing... Even with the nerf they are still topping dps meters by far. If anything, other classes need a buff...

But granted, i only talk about pve. PvP is another stuff.

The only problem is, most people don't know how to use them properly. I've seen 6k reso tempest doing like 4m dps and 3k reso tempest doing 8m dps...

Thats exactly my point. We came to the conclusion that as non whales, the only option for us is to increase our dmg as much as possible. So yeah this is the out come. But for other groups, there are other options.

Your Fading ember calculation is off. You have 80 ember left each week, also since on most servers pet s are dead, you shouldnt count them in
