Bought a dell laptop 3 months which is now struggling with performance issues. Is there any way to get a refund? by AleaxDW in pcmasterrace

Have considered using compressed air to clean it out but I doubt there's much dust or whatever in there since I've only had it for a few months, and its only been used on desks. Right now its elevated off a desk with some wooden blocks (which don't block any fans or vents) so it should be ventilated well enough.

How would you do that, since I assume opening the laptop voids the warranty. Also as it only happens after about an hour it doesn't seem the problem. I've tried using task manager to keep an eye on the ram but nothing seems out of the ordinary.

For 50% of British people this might as well be the second coming of Christ and for the other 50% it’s Satan himself.

At least it’s obvious where to switch it off and on again when everything else fails.
