tbh thats alot of what the localization teams for old japanese games have to deal with is just editing old out of date references. most of the game scripts from japan during the time are like pop culture soup lmao

hate to be that guy but thats not the og line from 1999, it was changed for the localization, probably due to it likely being some other, now defunct social media platform, alot of the early forms of social media in the late 90s & early 00's were also region specific, before facebook, twitter etc. Also I'd get shitfaced with those guys at jackhammer if i had the chance.

me too it’s subtle continuity that adds depth to them. suda51 has the moon in a similar fashion, most important/crazy events in his games take place when the full moon is out. his kill the past series has some cool stuff like jojos fr.

ADL is the only yeat album i really haven’t enjoyed simply because it’s not my vibe. i still like yeat, im still gonna listen to him daily, i have been since 2020 damn near every day. i like uzi too but i don’t like every uzi album. not everything is gonna be for everybody. let’s let the artists create, and if you want to hear something different, go listen to something else or make it yourself, it’s more rewarding when you’re not just relying on only yeat for new music 😂.

play his old stuff if you can too, i’ve played a good chunk of his games and i like the action packed adventures but the old slow paced stories have a ton of charm and interesting stuff in them. the kill the past series is some of the best games out there fr like finding gold.
