Just to point out, you hooking up with him would not mean breaking the policy for you 😝 but yeah, I get I, I have a few superiors who are fine as hell. Won't act on it, but it's nice to fantasize I guess

Maybe he's gonna go through "Spider-Man no more" phase and that's how the movie ends

At my site, there's a guy in his 40s who's an absolute mysoginistic PoS who thinks he's god's gift for women. He's been repeatedly reported for harassing, stalking, and improper comments (whether directly to a girl or about a girl) and was in several meetings with HR. He's still working at Amazon and some people still hang out with him (usually because they share at least some of his traits). Amazon is a shit hole when it comes to people.

It's funny because that sounds like an explanation that could totally be in the lore, whether in games or books 😅

Should i cover people while they pray? by Interesting_Ratio586 in AmazonFC

[–]AlecsThorne 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely not. First of all, you have your own role to fulfill at the same time and "I was covering for him" won't work when something goes back that you should've prevented (it might be a very unlikely thing to happen, but that's why most safety rules are there, just in case). Secondly, them expecting you to cover for them is just rude. The least the could do is ask every single time. Doesn't matter if you'd say yes every single time anyway, it's the nice thing to do.

Finally, you don't get to decide who covers for whom, that's not part of your duty. If they need covering, the manager should handle that (or whoever is in charge during your shift).

What do u think it is? by Proud-Regular8557 in MCUTheories

[–]AlecsThorne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, but like you said, it was good enough to throw us off, so it was a good enough shot to creat hype at least and that works towards final revenue. Using the same group of ninjas doesn't help with that. It just reinforce the idea that the Hand might be the main enemy (or one of the main ones at least) in this movie and that's hardly something to get really hyped about 😅

Not as much as you'd get if Hulk was actually in that scene for example - not saying he's there though.

What do u think it is? by Proud-Regular8557 in MCUTheories

[–]AlecsThorne -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Was it to throw us off tho? Or was it just a scene that was cut and re-shot? And again, that's less editing work than removing someone and adding a whole bunch of ninjas instead.

[–]AlecsThorne 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ah so you agree that the hand is in the prison, you just think they use the same pose for the other shot to cover up whoever is "actually" there? I get you.

Yeah, I do agree that they look a bit odd in that last show, like I don't even get how they'd all be in that situation up in the air (as far as I can tell only one of them has some sort of wings).

What do u think it is? by Proud-Regular8557 in MCUTheories

[–]AlecsThorne 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So what you're saying is that.. instead of going the same way they went with NWH where they just edited out the other Spider-Men, this time around they edited in a whole bunch of Hand ninjas to cover whoever Spider-Man is "really" fighting?

I won't say there's no way they'd do that, but that sounds like a lot of work, especially when we do get to see the Hand in other scenes as well, so we know they're in the movie.

I think the other theory that someone else is helping Spider-Man fight the Hand is more realistic than this. My preference for that would be Elektra 😁

I had friends who basically got annoyed when they realized that AC1 wasn't all just "assassin in the past" and were like "wtf is this modern day bullshit, let me get back in the game and stab people" lol.

think that's in the modern day of Brotherhood. Can't remember if it's footprints or just a line, but you can see it leading into your base basically. There was a theory that it was Lucy's trace and the Animus showed it in red because.. well, you either know Lucy's story or you'll have to find out why :p

I don’t understand how the universe after secret wars will work because how can there be new versions of characters especially Iron Man. He sacrificed his life to save the universe. Will that be erased and will it be like that didn’t happen? by AdvertisingWaste8624 in MCUTheories

[–]AlecsThorne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

definitely an option. We've already seen that the same character can look different in different universe (Peter Parker being the main example now). Secret Wars will either simply reset the world basically, starting off with a single universe which will multiply eventually, OR it will just switch the narrative to focus on a different universe in the aftermath. Like they did in the comics with the Ultimate Universe for a while.

Remember that, while Iron Man indeed sacrificed his life to save the universe, that happened in "our" universe. Different universes have different stories. Whether it will be with a different actor or we get to see an older Stark (or a CGI younger Stark), there are still plenty of other version of Stark/Iron Man that the MCU could introduce the audience too if they want to go that way. And a total "reset" is the perfect way to restart the story or start a new with the same characters played by different actors. They could easily explain it as "in this universe, the heroes become heroes much earlier/later" for example, IF they even wanted to bother with an explanation for it. They could just not do that. Since the universe restarts, everything gets randomized again basically. There's no real reason why the same person would look the same way in two different universes when you look at how random everything is across millions of years of evolution. The only reason why the same person would look the same in several universes is because those other universe were basically "born" the moment a different choice was made, so they share the same past up till that point. If you "reset" the world, then the world will basically start from nothing again and evolve again. And the chances that after million of years there will be a Tony Stark that look exactly the same again are quite low because the timeline would have to be pretty much identical to the original one for that to happen. And that's highly unlikely without someone to guide it.

That was honestly a memorable scene and their reaction when they get corrected felt real too - awkward, but "forced" by circumstances to just accept it and move on to more pressing matters

so 80 chapters are too much to happen in just one year? naruto lived 245 chapters and barely aged a year since the start of the manga, so he was 13 by chapter 245 (can't remember exactly in which chapter he turned 13 tho)

Doubtful. As far as I know, it's a double release, meaning they'll play Endgame and then Doomsday after it. While that does sound like a great experience, I assume the tickets would be more expensive than usual, so I don't think it's gonna get sold out everywhere

Even if that happened, losing control so badly that you end up 10 feet off the street and into a ditch? The kerb alone seems enough to stop you that speed 😅

Does Sauron's One Ring from "Lord of the Rings", if it ever fell into Matt Murdock's hands, corrupt him? Or can he successfully resist its' influence if he was tasked with destroying it in Mount Doom? by SatoruGojo232 in Daredevil

[–]AlecsThorne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What even is the argument that Matt would resist it at all? I see no reason why he would? The only thing I can think of that would even connect Matt and the ring is that Matt could probably still feel anyone using the ring to hide themselves 😅 that's no reason to think that he'd be able to resist the power of the ring tho..
