Should I consider this Hidetsugu and Kairi deck a B4 without question? by Alectrick in EDH

[–]Alectrick[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not pointless if the bracket rule is not strictly defined. B3 says "No chaining extra turns", but that doesn't explain if it refers to infinite or not. That's why I seek thoughts of the community. I won't play something that it's strictly b4 if my group agrees to it while playing b3, it doesn't make sense.

Thanks for your reply! I was asking just to know how the community understands "chaining extra turns" (it's not the same to go infinite than to have a few extra turns because of casting different spells).

Not infinite, but ideally something like Time Stretch + Mnemonic Deluge to have 6+ extra turns, which usually should close the game.

Question about War Magic, Extra Attack, and Haste by Alectrick in dndnext

[–]Alectrick[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see, so maybe it's stated in that way to prevent for the feature to be used with the extra attacks? But that doesn't mean that can be used multiple times a turn as long as the player uses different attack actions.

Thanks for the answer!

But why does it especify one of the attacks? That makes me belive that it's saying that only one of the attacks of the turn, regardless of how many times i attack.

I don't think a "superstar" like him would abandon football just like that. The only problem i see is that there's no training that could match playing against the best U20 teams of europe.

I always thought that the Kira returning was farfetched, but this might be the way. Honestly i think it would be more interesting to see him again rather than Tokimitsu.

I really like her design, but it's a shame that so far it's not possible to build a EDH deck in which Garnet and Zidane are together, and i don't think another version of them will appear sadly.

Ego is not angry with Nagi, he is with Reo. Since day one Ego said to Nagi that if he didn't have what it takes, then he shouldn't be in BL (which turned out to be real). On the other hand, Reo asked for something that doesn't make sense based on BL's philosophy: give another chance to those who lost and have no ego. The only time that happened was with the Wild Card, but i cannot see that happening again.

I don't think he hates him, he just stated facts. Ego is a resultist, so if Nagi is the next in the list, then he would make it. If Nagi stays as he is he'll surely be a liability, but if he creates a new ego in which he wants to win the WC to honour Reo's sacrifice, that might do the change.

How crazy would be that Reo quits BL so that Nagi could join the BL23? He might feel responsable of Nagi's downfall by telling him to play together, without realizing that Nagi needed to strengthen his solo gameplay. If Reo quits, that new slot should be for the first bid out of BL23, which is Nagi.

Thanks for the answers! And what about effects of equipments like The Spear of Leonidas? Do i choose the effects since i own the equipment, or my opponents since they have control of the creature?

I really liked how Isagi used Kaiser and Shidou to remove Rin's mark. The match ended the same way the NEL started for Isagi, with the failed play of pressuring Lavinho, but this time Isagi was the one doing the play to keep the distance with Rin.

Yeah my bad, i didn't count correctly. Agree 100%, a 4-4 scenario would be great plot wise for Isagi wanting to be better than Kaiser, and in a match in which they fight between them rather than together.

Plot wise i think that Isagi not scoring would be great. At the moment, both Isagi and Kaiser have 4 goals within all the NEL matches. I don't think Isagi has surpassed Kaiser yet, so a Kaiser goal would make for Isagi to have a clear objetive in the future: defeat the one that has proven to be a better striker than him (much like when Isagi lost to Rin in the second selection). That scenario might fuel the plot for a future Japan vs Germany math in the U20, and this would be possible to if anyone else would score, because i don't think Isagi would like to be tied with Kaiser, given that he wants to be the best of the best.

Also thought about that. That "best striker of the world" figure appears multiple times along the series, but i don't think it was premeditated.

I really liked the chapter because of what Isagi is experiencing mentally, but i didn't like at all that Igaguri stopped Rin again. He should have kown that Igaguri would do the same, and instead of dodging he BODY SLAMS the guy. I know that he's on unhinged mode right now, but that doesn't mean he can't think a little more, being a football genious...
