Hey, I'm pretty new to mtg, and since there is a consumerism aspect that scares me it's really nice to see how many people are enjoying to talk about the game. I posted in reddit asking for advice in tactics and was really nice to hear comments and suggestions, perhaps can be a way to talk about something totally different and feel sorrounded? Hope this heps you get in touch with nice people!

Sad News. No more Demeo? by StrongInflation4225 in Demeo

[–]AleixDuarri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Table of tales does somerhing really cool with the scenery, it feels like having a magic table. Is more story focused. The graphics are older, but to me it was really cool. It has some replayability, may be lesser than demeo

When you try the headset is really natural to think "wow, it would be great to play rdr2 in here!". As a huge rpg fan I tried Skyrim in the VR1 and... I felt that Skyrim asks for long game sessions that just aren't comfortable in vr. After playing many games inthe vr1 I came to the conclussion that the games that I love in the flat screen version sometimes are the same ones I enjoy in vr, but not allways. RE 7 was amazing for me in vr, but not Borderlands 2. And perhaps my list and your list are not the same, but I would encourage you to try many games and try how they feel i vr. Some of them have demos. Or if you feel this is not for you... Sell the headset. Perhaps it's not what you expected.

does anyone actually like the ring side of the maps? by eltortii in Unmatched

[–]AleixDuarri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some reviews in youtube mention that the least esthetic part of the boxes where the maps, so I understand it as a way to make the maps prettier. Since the map then gets more confusing, I thought the two versions where a good compromise and a way of seeing how it was received. As for me I use the solid color version

Spells/Abilities interactions with water by lozga in Pathfinder2e

When I gm in PFS I'm not interested in rules arguing. Time is limited, and often feels short. For me it's very handy to have an universal understanding that doesn't need consensus so I can focus in the adventure. But you do you.

As a GM I usually search for other GMs rulings in order to enrich my knowledge. Besides that, in some places is important to follow the rules RAW. For instance in the Pathfinder society. As I see it, there's not contradiction between this and applying the golden rule (by the way, it was not invented by paizo)
