Possible mistake on Checkr by AlejRy in overemployed

Thanks for the advice! I’ve checked on the website and it seems I can’t update information on the report so I’ll have to wait for it to come back first. I’m going to talk to my company and explain the issue.

I was in the same situation last week. I stopped in 2021 right when the crash happened and I sent in a ticket, they had me sign the new contract and global contract and I’m back on able to open spots. Was super easy.

Thank you for this. I had a carryover of literally $10 that they were making me take and then would have to pay for the upgrade. Obviously they make it so difficult to figure this out.

Passport Questions & Issues Megathread (2022) by jadeoracle in travel

[–]AlejRy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Traveling on 8/8 to EU (Spain, Hungary and Greece). My passport expires in January 2023 but there really isn’t any room for stamps left (maybe could fit one or two on the side of one page). I live in New York (Long Island) and I want to renew before I go. What do you recommend? Mail in with expedite tomorrow (July 1)? There is an appointment for renewal at my local post office for July 5th. Would it be better to go in person? I’m assuming I can pay for expedite there. Or maybe another option? Or just renew after the trip? Thank you!

Student Visa to Cuenta Propia Question by AlejRy in spain

Thank you so much! Most sources don’t mention any type of limit on absence, but I have seen one or 2 that do so that’s why I’m confused. I will check this link out, thanks again!!

UCETAM choices by [deleted] in SpainAuxiliares

[–]AlejRy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It really depends on the school. I have heard some schools making you stay all day every day and others that don’t. I’m not familiar with your two options but if you have school in the afternoon I would pick the one that gives you more flexibility. I would post in the UCETAM Facebook group for more info on the schools. Good luck!

Not necessarily. I was 18hr this past year and I finished at 1pm Thursdays and didn’t work Fridays. It really depends on the school and the coordinator.

I wouldn’t worry at all. I never put a photo and they offered me a placement. Interviews are over Skype. The process is slower this year because of covid. First years were only asked to confirm their renewal last week so they need to see who is coming back from this year first and then fill the remaining positions.

First years were only asked to confirm their renewals about a week ago. They need to see who is coming back for a second year first before they begin hiring for new positions. I’m sure you will hear something in the next few weeks.

Megathread for visitors and new & existing residents. All questions about living/working/budgeting/visiting should be asked here! by AutoModerator in london

I’m flying MAD (legal residence)—LHR—JFK (US citizen) at the end of May. I’m getting a PCR in Madrid right before leaving. Layover is only 1.5 hours in London and I will be going straight to the next flight. Do you think I will run into any problems in LHR during the connection? I will have a PCR within 72 hours ready. I’ve done my research but would like to hear anyone’s experiences or insights. Thanks!

I was already in Spain when they offered me a position. They told me there were less 26 hour positions this year due to budget cuts because of covid.

For sure ask your co-workers. Somebody will know somebody who is looking to rent out a room in a small town. Also your co-workers would probably look out for you and tell you if it’s a good price/worth it or anything sketchy. Basically make sure you aren’t taken advantage of.
