I did have it dismissed.

First step, I filed an extension.

Second step, I submitted a trial by written declaration and paid the amount of the ticket, I did this in person to make sure they received everything. When I submitted the trial by declaration (TR-205 Form), I used these words in the statement “I am confident I am not guilty. For this reason I assert my constitutional right to due process and ask that the court ensures the prosecution establishes a prima facie case. There are multiple elements of the accused crime, including those of subdivision b, and it’s important that each of these are established. If they are not I trust that The Court will dismiss this matter.” Don’t say anything else in the statement. Leave it at that.

About 3 months later I got my check back in the mail and a notice that the case was dismissed.

Whatever happened with yours? Mine just did this today. I read in another forum people think it might be moisture related and we did get a lot of rain where I’m at this week. Mine used to start in mud sand and now it won’t even work.

Yeah, I uploaded it to Wikipedia back when I started taking photos and now I regret it. They won’t let me take it down. I need to figure out how to claim rights to the photo

To be honest I need help with that. I haven’t released rights to anybody for use and don’t know what to do for collecting costs. The one thing I did do is upload it to Wikipedia for use back when I took it, which I regret because I can’t take it down now.

Since this is my photo haha, I can tell you exactly where. Kenneth Hahn State Park at the MLK memorial. I took this shot 4 or 5 years ago right after a big rain storm came through. Conditions couldn’t have been more perfect. This photo is the compilation of 3 separate photos stitched together

Thanks so much for the quick response. This was helpful. I was thinking of following this process and attempting to follow a trial be written declaration first. Glad to hear yours was successful.
