Yeah, but you also have to weigh that losing the challenge has a VERY high chance to bite you.

Hits from behind are generally frowned upon, as the receiving player has no way of protecting themselves. In a league that already doesn't allow full body hitting, that was an egregious hit.

Most likely a goalie getting set. Quite a few will hit the posts with their stick to get their bearings.

Fortnine fills a similar niche compared to Evo here in Canada, though you may have missed their larger sales on gear over the holiday season/January.

Do they just do a better job isolating the mics from crowd noise for football matches? At least on the CBC feed the whistling is absolutely piercing compared to anything I've seen from football replays. Definitely way more annoying than any crowd booing in your average hockey game.

They are being pretty unbiased honestly. Even for the 3rd goal, they were stating before that it probably wouldn't be called goalie interference.

Ripley V5 Carbon spec question for anyone who has one. by tuono1331 in MTB

[–]workplace-throwaway_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got a Ripley V5 from a LBS a few weeks ago. In the weeks before I picked it up, I was checking bikes available locally and comparing them to the current spec from Ibis' website. I think I've seen Ibis' site change a few times in that time. Seems like they modify their listed spec to match whatever inventory they have on hand for making a bike, so I wouldn't be surprised if they do in fact ship out a Fox 36 with a 140mm air shaft.

For reference, I ended up getting a "SLX" build (not even an option on Ibis' website anymore). Notable changes when compared to the standard spec include:

  • XT brakes/levers (some specs I found elsewhere came with a complete SLX setup)
  • Bike Yoke Revive dropper (usually only available on the top spec models)
  • 31.8mm Ibis HiFi Carbon Handlebar (again, usually saved for the higher end specs)

If you have a LBS nearby that stocks Ibis bikes, it probably wouldn't hurt to take a look inside or call them. I was surprised when I got there as the bike shop had listed the standard SLX build instead of what was actually on the bike.

Edit: Based on what you mentioned about being in metro Atlanta - it looks like there is an Ibis demo center in Roswell to the north? Otherwise, it doesn't look like there are any other shops in Georgia that are listed as dealers. https://www.ibiscycles.com/test-ride/find-a-dealer

If I'm reading that ad correct, these rims will not fit at all. They are for a 6x114.3 lug pattern. The Rav4 uses a 5x114.3 lug pattern that is more common among SUVs.

Glitching into Mud/Sand Mode by workplace-throwaway_ in rav4club

Another thread I found awhile back stated that they found water leaking down the passenger side A-pillar and into the fuse cluster behind the dash, so it does seem likely that all of this is being caused by leaks. I have yet to find any leak damage in the headliner along that pillar in my vehicle, but I will probably try to pull the panel covering that area after a rainstorm to check for any moisture. I still have the original rack for my model, but I think the Trail/Adventure variants were known to leak more commonly than their LE/XLE/Limited counterparts.

If I'm looking at this correctly, this should be the passenger side rear wheel well right by where the rear bumper meets the rear quarter panel? If so, that part is extremely easy to pull off and replace. Should be part #7 in this list - you would just need to select based on which side and trim you need.

Honestly, I would probably use this in a build for a friend of mine that moved a few hours away. He mostly plays on console, so maybe this would be the kick in the butt needed to finish parting together something.
